Cute story

The narrator was good but this story really deserves dual or duet narration. I read as I listened and kept wanting hear a real male voice.

I reaf this bok after I read part 2 and I must admit that the narrator Lacy Laurel should have been used for Book as well.

Your children will always be your babies no matter how fast they grow or go. Life is full of good and bad decisions. Up to you to choose what works

Liked but my my fave by this author

I’m not sure what I disconnected about this book. While I appreciated the low angst, I think the little angst gave this book a disservice. I liked the whole angle of them being adults and having the proper communication but everything was just too perfect for me. The twins were adorable but Aiden was a better ginger hero for me. I still enjoyed this book as I read it on audio and audiobooks are my preference.

Sweet and cozy goodness

I saw this one recommended by several folks I trust and wooooo did it deliver! Just such a well written story. I love Sloane and Rafe so much and look forward to reading more from this author

Sweet story

I liked the interaction between Rafe and the twins. Narrator did a lousy male voice.

Love the writing and I always like Lacy Laurel’s narration but she could have used a male counterpart. Someone who actually had a slight Boston accent.

I was unable to finish this store because the narrator was killing me softly and not in a good way😒

I’m really glad someone recommended this one

The title (or, more accurately the subtitle) made me think I would not like it, but it’s probably one of my favorite new reads of the year, so far. Weatherspoon understands the assignment and carries it off well. Rafe is pure fantasy—high-heat instalust that quickly become instalove—but you can see the real world from where they are in ways I wasn’t expecting. It’s not at all subtle, but there are still some moments of surprise, often with a side of humor. And unlike in some books that claim com(edy) as part of their description, the humor is actually humorous to me. Rafe is a gentle giant; Sloane is “short-ish” former wunderkind, now premier heart surgeon; the twins are adorably sassy; and I appreciate the way that Rafe and Sloane’s families and friends are a part of their lives and, therefore, part of the story. There is, technically, an external conflict, but it’s not *really* a conflict. And I’m ok with that. Sometimes I want drama. Sometimes I just want to watch two nice people decide that they both like each other and want to bang it out. Bonus: there are moments of both dialogue and characters’ internal monologues that feel like they could have been my thoughts or conversations I’ve had with friends.

I was already planning to read more of her work, but the epilogue ensured I’d do that sooner, rather than later. No regrets!

What You See Is What You Get

Holy moly!

A tattooed ginger bearded bike riding child care giver! That’s Rafe. A man of such integrity and compassion. He is exactly what Sloan needs at a moment’s notice to care for her twin girls.....and herself.

The pace of their attraction was fast and I’m glad it didn’t drag out to a “will or won’t they” situation.

Narrated by Lacy Laurel, she was able to successfully carry off the deep register of a male voice so I wasn’t distracted from listening to her.
A sweet story with a happy ending, just what I wanted.
