Welcome to the City of Secrets and Sin.

When I ran away to New Orleans, I’d hoped that I was leaving my awful past behind me.

I was wrong.

My former captor has found me, and he’s threatening the town I love if I don’t return to him. He wants me to use my power to kill for him, and he’ll destroy New Orleans if I refuse.

Talan, the demon lord who is my mate, will stop at nothing to protect me. Together, we stand a chance—as long as I embrace the magic that has haunted me since the day I was born.

Kiss of Death is the final book in the Secrets & Sin trilogy. It's got enemies to lovers, fated mates, and a tortured hero who is absolutely obsessed with the heroine but really doesn't want to be.

I don't know if the narrator was just getting tired or bored but I found myself not even realizing I'm listening to the fight scenes or intense moments because there is just no sense of urgency in her voice. The first two books before this are great and the story is fun and intriguing but I just can't get over the narrator. The MC frustrated me sometimes with her choices but overall great book, great series and I'm glad I listened! Worth the credit.

Love the books, not the narrator

Story was good, characters were good but the narrator…..the end of each sentence was like she ran out of breath, so distracting. Toward the middle I got bored of her voice and the male voices weren’t the best. I’d I were to do the series over I would read it instead.

Narrator hurt the story
