We managed to pass the first test set out for us by the desert goddess on our path to finding the dragon hatchlings. Of course, that means I really have the eye of Asag, the Beast from the East, on me now.

Maks has been taken by a woman known as the Storm Queen. As her pet and possibly as her baby daddy. So instead of going after the second step that would take us closer to Asag and the dragons, I am racing south to the Sea of Storms to rescue Maks. Queen or no queen, I am not giving up on my mate.

But like all things in my life, nothing is going as planned. I’ve ended up with another Jinn to deal with, a five-year-old shifter who loves to call out my cursing, and a detour that takes me away from Maks.

The clock is ticking, and we are closing in on the players that would stop us from making things right...if only my black cat bad luck would ease off, we’d be good.

I always enjoy listening to a book about Zam and her pride. There's always humor, sarcasm, action, and some heartfelt emotion. I love the world and the creatures that Shannon Mayer has created. Lauren Fortgang is fantastic. I love listening to her.

Action packed and riveting listen!

Once again, the narrator, Lauren Fortgang has completely outdone herself. I absolutely love how she portrays Zam and the other characters.
It felt like I was right there beside them watching everything unfold. I found it so difficult to pause the book, so I kept doing errands and came home and cleaned so that I could continue getting lost in Zam and Mak’s journeys.
Do yourself a favor, and pick up this series. The narrator is phenomenal and literally transports you into another world.

I am sooo into this story

I don’t even know how I ever shall live without stories of the pride. I love Zam, Lila and Maks so much, the first book is my total go to happy book. And this one, didn’t disappoint. Twists and turns, sweet friendship and kick @ss heros. The demons better put on their big boy panties, because the pride is coming for them and will not rest until they have faced off with the baddest of them all. Hurry up book nine! I cannot wait to hear another brilliant audio adventure!

Another adrenaline pumping, laugh out loud, crazy Zam adventure! Will she ever catch a break? Probably not and for that I am grateful as these stories are THE best! Maks is being held captive by the Storm Queen who wants his baby. Poor Zam is stuck with a Jinn who is just a pain in the rump and good for nothing! Every one and their mother are after her and all she wants in the world is to save her mate! Bring it on!!!
