Builds up the tension

This is a great penultimate book, David Tennant is absolutely brilliant, he gives the characters such distinct personalities. The story is tension laden but touching and funny. This is one of the deeper books in the series but is still quite light on the whole.
Pure quality

A great holiday listen for all the family

What made the experience of listening to How to Betray a Dragon's Hero the most enjoyable?

We have followed the adventures of Hiccup on audible from the first story to this the penultimate in the series. David Tennant's reading is a full scale production & helps you to picture all the different characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Toothless is the best for all of us though Hiccup and Kamikaze run a close second.

What about David Tennant’s performance did you like?

The whole production is wonderful. David Tennant is excellent and you can easily identify all the different characters

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

We especially love listening to them on long car journeys as they help make the journey bearable especially when stuck in traffic.

Any additional comments?

Sad that the series is nearly finished but also can't wait till the next title is released with David Tennant reading it of course.

Gets better and better

Started listening to Hiccups adventures on a 5h car journey with my then 5&7 years old boys to keep them quiet. When we arrived they did not leave the car before the story had finished. Now- 4 years later still their favourite bedtime story and my favourite story to listen to on my commute

Amazing emotional scenes brilliantly written and narrated.

We have been listening to this series for years and it gets better and better. The scenes with Snot loud and Hiccup are fantastically well written and narrated. Still love Kamikaze asking for forgives rather than permission. She is still my favourite female character in any children's novels.
