Interesting

The story was interesting. The only downfall is that the narrator sounded robotic most times.

Great ending!

The story took some twists that were unexpected and I found the reader engrossing. He just kept pulling me into the story. Great book and great performance.

Disappointed

I really like Gregg Olsen, and I enjoyed the first 3 books in this series. But, it seems he didn’t have much material to work with on this one, and most of it was filler to make a decent length read. The story was monotonous and repetitive. The characters supporting characters were forgettable. The end of the story was painful to get through, and very predictable. I’m glad this was the final book in this series because I would not have read the next one.

My rating was as high as it was because I have really enjoyed his other books. If this was any other writer, I would have stopped listening and sent the book back.

Repetitive with an overly dramatic, campy "baddie"

The Waterman and Stark series was great until this ludicrous chapter. With each appearance of the Nevins character, I was thinking "OK, OK...she's sexy, screws everyone and has nice boobs." ENOUGH ALREADY. There was zero mystery, it dragged on for20 chapters longer than necessary. I fast forwarded every segment with Brenda as she was that annoying. The ending was stupid beyond measure. A complete betrayal of a character's entire life and career. To say nothing of heritage and accomplishments. Olsen you lost me forever. Won't read anymore of these goofy "thrillers".
