Publisher's Summary

What will it take for her to just say yes?

Scott Taylor has the perfect life. He gets to fulfill his dream playing professional hockey, has a loving family, and a tight group of friends. But the one thing missing in his life is a partner to come home to. He knows exactly who he wants to fill that position - the only woman he has ever loved. The one who got away, who constantly consumes his every thought. What it would take to get her to just say yes to a second chance?

Becca Phillips is an independent woman who has made her career as an ER nurse a priority in her life. She has a loving family and a best friend by her side, but she can’t seem to get over her first love, Scott. Insecurities led her to break up with him years ago when he started climbing the ranks in professional hockey and, for eight years, Becca has avoided Scott when he returns home each summer. Can she overcome her fears and allow love back into her life? All she has to do is just say yes to the one and only man she has ever loved.

Low angst sweet book

Scott Taylor, a professional hockey player has never gotten over Becca. She too, has never gotten over Scott. This is a second chances romance and is really sweet and low angst. Both characters are so nice and low conflict that I just enjoyed listening to them achieve their HEA. The one thing is that since there was no angst it probably could have been shortened (although it wasn’t really that long as it was but I think that it got a little dull towards the end). However, that said, these low angst, happy books have their place!

Tim Paige did a good job. Good pacing and a smooth voice. I thought some of his other male voices were a bit too feminine but otherwise, he did a great job differentiating between the characters.
I’ve listened to Sarah Puckett before and her beautiful voice is perfect for Becca. She does a good job with different voices. There were some repetitions in the audio but that was a minor issue.

Good book....

I love these types of books that there is second chance love, without all of the drama. Scott and Becca were just so perfect! Loved their story and the way they reconnect!! Great book!

I have to say that a narration can make a book great. I liked this narration...I didn't love it. The male narrator was decent, where I may listen to other books of his. The female communicated in a way that made certain scenes hard to listen to. I can't put my finger on it, and I'm not sure i would listen to another of her narrations. I'm sure it's just me and my personal opinion. However, I liked the second chance story.

Sweet Second Chance Romance

I received this audiobook free at my request and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Samantha Lind's Just Say Yes is a sentimental sweet second chance romance that listeners are sure to love. The male/female narrator combo of Tim Paige and Sarah Puckett do an excellent job of breathing life into the characters of Scott and Becca. This isn't an overly complicated tale, but there's nothing detracting from the narrative either. It's a simple straight forward romance without much complication.

Just say yes

I received this audible in exchange for my honest review. Thank you for the chance to review this audible. A lot of hard work was put into it. I love a good story. At times it felt, like too much, sex, too much sappy romance but it got the point across. I would have liked it to feel more realistic. Pour fantasy.

Lovely Story, perfect narration.

I adore this book, from beginning to end. It has a really nice and cute second chance romance between the characters, sweet, with great chemistry between them. What I love the most was that there's no unnecessary drama, and that the characters stay together throughout the book.

As for the narration, first time listening to Tim Paige, he did pretty well and I truly like his performance and would for certain listen to him in the future. Sarah Puckett was excellent as always, I always adore listening to her and this wasn't the exception.

Second Chance Hockey Romance

Low Angst, Low Drama. This second chance romance between hockey hottie Scott Taylor and his high school sweetheart Becca Phillips. Narrated by Tim Paige and Sarah Puckett, this story moved at a slow pace as these two rekindled their romance. This was not my favorite story, I tend to like more action and drama, but the narration by Tim Paige and Sarah Puckett was great and the reason I listened to the whole book. I think that you will like this book if you are looking for a straight forward second chance romance where the characters know what they want and don't play any games.
