Fun transition book

I love this series. I mostly listen to non-fiction but this and the Galactic Bonds and The Ashen series are really enjoyable. I could listen to hundreds more hours of this story, Shining is a great lead character, the narrator is top notch, and the world is easy and fun to imagine. I feel like this book wrapped up previous challenge arcs and now the stage is set for some interesting new developments coming in book 6 - a new chapter for Shining Smith and her growing family..

As usual Faith Hunter does not disappoints. I definitely wish the story was longer, but I know that good things comes to those who wait. I’ll be looking forward to the next installment of this series.
