Loved it. Great new world. Plus, I love the narrator, she’s wonderful. Can’t wait for the next book.

Thrilling story , can't wait for more

Super fun listen and unique story. Lots of magic and action. Things aren't as they should be but most don't know the truth. Exposing the truth will have you on the edge of your seat and ducking the flying magic and watching for drose.

For magic, it was refreshingly not really fantasy. There were rules.

The characters were believable. The magic was complex enough but there is a vast unknown to it also. The darkness was even enthralling. The narrator was excellent. It is not often a female can do justice to male characters. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Kim Harrison has again created a world of magic! Her storytelling is always awesome and engaging. Can't wait for the next installment. Pluck for President
