Jay Sekulow
In his new book, New York Times best-selling author Jay Sekulow presents a political and historical rationale for the existence of Israel as a sovereign nation.
The State of Israel and its very right to exist is a lynchpin issue not only in the Middle East, but is a critical issue to the world at large. Whether it is the blatant and stated desire of ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, or Iran to wipe Israel from the face of the Earth, or the more subtle but equally insidious aim to delegitimize Israel's existence through efforts at UNESCO, the goal is the same - to get rid of Israel.
Here is the audiobook that defends Israel's right to exist as a sovereign nation. As chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, Jay Sekulow has fought with Israel hand-in-hand in some of Israel's most strategic, international battles. Now, he has pulled together the definitive and comprehensive look at Israel - one of the world's most controversial nations - and its importance to us as Americans and as a key focal point to the future of the world.
Sekulow looks at the legal case for its prominence, as well as the historical and political rationale for its existence as a sovereign nation and homeland for Jews today, and encourages listeners to stand with him against the hatred, lies, and efforts to delegitimize one of the world's oldest nations.

Up until now I used to pride myself on possessing at least a reasonable knowledge of the historical facts that have led the world to the current situation in Israel. In specifics , the ever chronic problem of the Palestinian Arabs and their vengeful and non-negotiable quest for their own state/country. However, while I always thought that their are “two sides to any story”, my read of Mr Sekalow’s book has concluded essentially the same truism. There is the truth (facts) that the Palestinian Arab population both in Israel and abroad do NOT have any legal, historical , spiritual or even ethical RIGHT to the current post 1967 war borders of the state of Israel, but the stunning facts as presented in a rationale, logical, and irresolvable factual basis as presented by Mr Sekulow’s book, demonstrably demonstrates that there just isn’t any way to argue rationally from the current point of those who state that not only are they “entitled” to the state of Israel, as well as the rest of the land known as Eretz Yisrael. The current borders of Israel. To attempt to have a rationale discourse with anyone who tries to dispute the leviathan amounts of historical factual basis, is like trying to argue with a suffering soul schizophrenic proportions.
If only the Palestinian Arabs could elect leaders that would not insist on the destruction of Israel and all of Jewry, and not insist on what never was nor never will theirs (Jerusalem) , then it would be my humble opinion that a majority of reasonable Israelis would consider the ceding of some land to allow the Palestinian Arab population a homeland. Not to mention the current country of Jordan, who could easily offer to cede some of their sovereign territory to allow the Palestinian Arab a place to call home. However as Mr Sekulow has eloquently and logically systematically put it, Jerusalem and the current borders of Israel always were, and will always be of and for the Jewish people.
A much needed, non-PC tome of factual history that is sorely needed in our age of “information” where anyone with little funds, little knowledge and access to the internet can continue to spread the ugly diatribe of hate, xenophobia, and extreme stubbornness.
Thank you Mr Sekulow for writing this!

It should be read by all - both those in favor and those opposing the Jewish State as well as those sitting on the fence, in order to have clear insight into all the issues.
The narration is very good but has to loose at least one star for the absolutely atrocious pronunciation of Hebrew names and terms. Surely Mr Jiry you could have taken the trouble to learn to pronounce these names and terms properly. That was the only disappointing part of an otherwise excellent performance.
