Love this series.

I have listened to all the books in this series. Absolutely hooked. Narrator is phenomenal and he really makes the characters come alive.!! I hope there will be more in the series.

Brilliant, can't praise enough!

I was unhappy with the cliffhanger ending of book seven. I was reluctant to continue, so glad I did. This is the best book yet, although while it could be entertaining, I would not start with Jeremiah's Bell. A lot of the joy and laughter comes from knowing the characters, but still a good mystery.

Great story...abrupt ending

I really enjoy the Inspector Daley books and the narration is absolutely top-notch. The story in this really kept me guessing and went in unexpected directions. However, I felt the ending was rather abrupt and didn't really wrap up the story very well. This is sort of been a problem and his last couple of books. That said, it won't stop me from getting the next installment. Very enjoyable stories, memorable characters, and superb narration.

Another brilliant installment.

This series has me hooked. The characters are all so compelling and the stories are excellent. These books have serious story lines and some difficult themes, but just the right balance of humor sprinkled throughout to keep things on an even keel. At times lines are laugh out loud. The narrator in my opinion could not be topped. I started off reading these books but once I began listening to them on audible I had to keep going with this format. There is no way I'd do justice to the accents and characters in my head in the way Monteath does. I can't wait for the next installment.

Sequel Heaven

Great characters and fast paced storyline
that keeps the interest throughout the series. The narrator is perfection.
