Mid-Life Rules

It is hard to find the words to explain how I’ve fallen in love with the characters within these books. This includes the secondary characters introduced in each of the novels.

I find so many parts of myself within the characters and the relationships between them. I so enjoy the use of “southern courtesy rules” and the breaking of them …. Even the use of crass, gross, profanity is accomplished with such gentility and humor.
I have so appreciated this series. The author has raised so many thought provoking ideas and life questions and arrive at answers so similar to the my own.

Amazing!

I just love this series. Jessica Almasy is amazing. She changes her voice so fast and never misses a beat. Great book. I can’t wait for the next one.

Great! Except for chapter 8

Jessica Almasy does an exceptional job of acting out this truly fun novel. Chapter 8 contains an editing error like I have never heard from a publishing house before. I’ve heard out takes from audio books - and this is what the clip was like.
Again, I enjoyed the story and the narration! 5 stars for those.
Editors or producers need to do better.

Of course, Candy Vargo was hilarious but the Queens made me laugh so hard I could not catch my breath. I cannot wait for the next book.

Love these books! Wish there were more. Always a little sad when I reach the end.

Another Cliffhanger

OMG! This one ends with a major cliffhanger and the last book is not in audible form yet! I’m biting my nails. I need the last book NOW!!!

I enjoy the books, but...

I enjoy her books, but the fact that she spends a chapter or two repeating the previous book is annoying. It kind of seems like an excuse to be able to write multiple books. I mean if you spend 2 chapters just repeating the last chapters of the previous book, you have less of a story to come up with.
Just my personal opinion

loved this book. Jessica Almasy is one of my favorite narrators and of course you can never go wrong reading or listening to a Robyn Peterman book.
