Rollercoaster of a story with captivating narration

Invisible By Day is quite the journey through post World War I Britain, as told by a woman trying to find her way in a world that’s between the traditions of the past and a more equitable future.

The story is even more though, as it regularly left me surprised and tracing back past chapters for subtle hints.

The audio performance adds a beautiful layer to the story, as the characters are well thought out and the acting is brilliant. Grace Gray is able to help even the most subtle characters come to life while keeping you fully enthralled with the primary characters.

Overall a very engaging read, that’s seems very true to the times.

I love this intriguing journey through the lives of those stuck in the distinct peer classes at the turn of the century. We experience how they begin to intertwine and face opposition from aristocratic society as the lines are crossed & begin to disappear during the 19th 20th centuries & during a war torn world. Those times were well captured giving the reader a historical peek into the past. Also the many twists & edge of the seat suspense allowed the reader to feel the frustrations, the joys & disappointments of those difficult times. This is accomplished through excellent writing & narration. The characters are believable and well developed making this novel thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you, Teri, Job well done!
