Great story!

I loved this storyline and the characters! I really enjoyed getting back to a Karen White novel that was not a Tradd Street! It was nice to be in a whole new setting with new characters. Loved it!

London and espionage

What a great historical story. Loved the twist at the end. The people reading this were good with each character..

As always Karen White transports you to another place and time with rich characters that make you feel like you are there watch the story play out in front of your eyes.

Another fantastic, in depth story from Karen White

I didn't know quite what to expect with this story line. But I LOVED it. I hated for the end to come. The characters were alive and vibrant. I felt I was right there with them during all the air raids. And I loved how nearer the end, I could see the story line and main character tie in with the earlier book, "Falling Home". And the performance from Barrie and Saskia was spot on! Love it! Don't miss this one!

For anyone who loves historical fiction, especially London in WWII, you must read this book! Wonderful story with enough twists and turns that you never want to put it down!!

Wonderfully well-written story.

I loved this story! The author did a fabulous job blending past and present, romance, humor, and suspense! Readers who enjoy WWII novels will love this one. Also, the narration and accents were spot on. My only complaint is that the book should have ended about two chapters sooner than it did.

I have listened to most of Karen White’s books, and so far, this is my favorite.

This book is a great story!

I think it is going to make me start a “Favorites” list.
Two stories melded together into my new favorites! War time cutting to present time! Incredible and surprising!

World war 11 historical fiction

This Book was awesome . Kept you guessing until the end . Great narration, loved the history abd you could feel the passion and the horror of war. Characters so well built and you felt like you knew what they were all experiencing
