Publisher's Summary

Leveling up. Fighting death. Living life to the max.

Zeke and his comrades have only been in Brindolla, their new world, for a short time, but every minute has been amazing. Kicking butt and not bothering to take names, the group has been moving forward in their quest to push back War, the galactic tyrant.

Then the unthinkable happens: Their friend is banished to the darkest Hells. Poof! Gone...just like that.

Now, not only are they on a quest to stop the vanguard of War, but they are going to need to get stronger, faster, and better than ever before if they want to have any hope of busting into the Hells and getting their friend back.

The Brindollan Gods plan to help as much as they can, but will it be enough to allow them to complete a task that even Orpheus in Earth's mythology couldn’t?

With the odds looking bleak and the world they’re trying to defend turning against them, they’re going to need to seek help from unlikely spaces, travel to new places, and break some faces.

loved the continuation of this story.

loved hearing the continued story of the group and how they have grown. It was great to see them deepen there bonds with one another and with the friends they made along the way.

Can't wait for the next one!

I love these books. They do a great job with ability progression without listing a character sheet every two minutes. The banter between everyone is arguably my favorite part. You can tell the characters in the story have all been friends for years and it shows.

A great sequel.

I found this one to be just as engaging and enjoyable as the first. I am hoping the next comes sooner rather the later.

Charismatic and relatable

The story has a good pace and the characters are relatable. There was a part that depicted loss in a battle and it hit me right in the feels. There is no gross stupidity going on and it's not all droning boring small meticulous details. It's a good story. I have skipped over it in the past several times because to put it frankly. The title sounds ridiculous. What kind of druid weilds an axe?

The saga continues!

More druidic shenanigans of the highest order. It is fun to see how the characters unlock interesting abilities and see how they use them together.

Great book!

Really a great book. It has all the feeling of a good paper and pencil tabletop RPG game, with LOTS of action. Fun as hell.
It also has an added bonus: one of the best depiction of the dwarven culture I have seen, apart from Tolkien or Dragonlance - a high target to achieve if you ask me.
Great work!

just amazing

this author has blown my mind for how good this second installment of series. the fights are great the story is good but it is nothing compared to the depth of emotion you get from from not even characters but people the world all of it is so real. I almost cried at a dwarf scene not going to lie.
