Incorporating higher learning in corporate life

In the Audio version I wish there was a way to revisit excerpts since many of the chapters had sub chapters and sub sub chapters.

Beyond business : a guide life and how to live it

Hitendra Wadhwa is the most inspiring Professor I have personally ever met. His work at Columbia and the Mentora Institute are insightful and inspiring. This book is a wonderfully presented and well thought out of the many leadership principles we see in so many business or leader ship books. But the habit of perspective, of looking inward for outer impact is a unique and fresh view. And it Hitendra weaves a beautiful narrative to not only shows a better path towards leadership but, more importantly, a better path to a better life. This may seem grandiose, and some may take the topic of religiosity or spirituality as preachy. But do not judge the book for heading in a spiritual direction. Even if you don’t believe we are spiritual creatures, it is worth hearing the way Hitendra talks about his own journey, and the journey of so many important historical figures, is masterful. I highly recommend.

Hitendra Wadwha did an excellent job by bringing together wisdom from many traditions. He literally seemed to tie together so many of the thought leaders I’ve read and grown to admire through my years. I will be buying this book for my grown children and for many other people I love. I will be listening to this annually at least and I recommend it without reservation for truth seekers and those who hope to learn to hear and trust their inner guide and live a more meaningful and transformative life. Well done, Dr Wadwha. With sincere gratitude.

Hitendra’s work is a profound read or listen for work and life. I reread or listen to parts of his book regularly. Pondering its content and stories is a journey into wisdom, purposeful living, and meaningful work. It is full of insight while moving to a new level of depth and artistry.
