Publisher's Summary

Finn Blackstone is in trouble. A mission to find out the truth about her mysteriously absent father has morphed into a perilous game of cat and mouse. Now Finn and her friends must navigate a terrifying futuristic landscape filled with machines intent on the group's annihilation.

As Finn struggles against external forces, she faces an imminent threat as she grapples with her alter ego, Infinity. By accessing her memories, Finn catches a glimpse of Infinity's capabilities and feels a growing sense of horror at her past. But the more Finn and Infinity interact, the more the game shifts under their feet. In a world where it's hard to tell your friends from your enemies, Finn's past rears its ugly head to trip her up in unthinkable ways.

Finn must summon every ounce of strength she has to overpower her adversaries in a bone-rattling roller-coaster ride hurtling her toward an unknown future.

tedious continuous action scene

Reminiscent of the Maze Runner series, but more a continuous chase scene akin to Terminator 2, there is little to be learned from this installment of this young adult series.

Don't miss this Trilogy!

The writing is very detailed without being overdone and the narrator is awesome! I love the accent, listened to the entire book on a long drive and it made the time fly by. I look forward to the next in the series.

It's okay

The story line is okay, but I cannot stand the voice of the narrator. It made for a long listen.

such a great second book!!

I loved how we really got to know Finn in the first book and in the second got to know Infinity. It had a lot of action from the very beginning. I appreciated the way we got to see the characters grow and different friendships form and develope. I CAN NOT wait for book three!! I like that these books have no swear words and are more about action then another love story. Nice change of pace. I really enjoyed it and think u will too

abrupt ending

when it was just getting started, the book ended... no ending, just..stopped... as if the author decided, "if I split the boom, I can make twice as much money..." oh well, glad it was free for me with kindle unlimited.
