I think this is one of Tessa’s BEST stories!

Seriously, one of Tessa’s BEST stories! Didn’t have to wait for the last chapter for the girl to get the guy. So tired of those same ol’ stories. This book was captivating and uplifting!

Thought provoking

Seeing the possible story of Ruth in such details was thought provoking and gave a deeper insight on what the characters were experiencing as they journeyed through life. The reader could identify with each character’s life, feelings, and beliefs yet at the same time came to the conclusion that faith and trust in God was essential.

A good story

Tessa really helps connect us with the Bible characters, even though it’s a fictional account. I really enjoyed this book.

Beautiful Story of Ruth

Tessa has a beautiful way with words and making Bible stories come to life. It’s a book that was hard to put down. Ruth is one of my favorite books in the Bible.

Didn't care for the reader's voice. The 's' was not smooth. I listened because I had already used the credit.

As always this author has outdone herself. The story was interesting and I enjoyed the flow of the story

It is full of love, faith and redemption

How much historical context it gave to a familiar story

I appreciated all the cultural and historical context of this book. The story of Ruth and Boaz is incredible by itself, but to flesh out the story with more historical details set the story into focus and made it even more incredible. I don’t mean the literary license the author took (though that was masterful) but the details about Moab culture, Jewish law, the food they would’ve eaten, and even how harvesting would have played out in a daily fashion. Well done!
