In Defense of Charlotte

I enjoyed the book tremendously, as I had previously listened to Book 1 in the series. I was disappointed that at the story’s conclusion, it appears once again that Sen. Collins, due to his privilege, similar to the current administration in DC, was above the law.

Ahhhh!

The end left hanging and didn’t conclude an important piece of the story. Want to know how that piece concluded. Ahhhhh!

Meh - dry with underdeveloped characters

Too much legal explanation and not enough personality and abrupt ending. Not suspenseful at all,

I hate that I have to waste 15 words on a book that wasted 10+ hours of my life.

Interesting story!

The plot and characters quickly caught my interest. I usually enjoy a well written legal mystery/thriller, and this was one of them. Excellent narrator as well. I'm on to the next book in this series.
