Actually Well Done

Let's face it, the whole "villainess" thing is a popular fad and nothing new, and to be sure, the summary of this story probably sounds familiar if you are a fan of light novels or anime. All the same, I am a sucker for these types of stories and this one turned out to be a surprisingly well executed example of this subgenre. The characters and story are engaging and I found some parts quite moving. I hope this book and its author gain popularity so the author continues to release more books like it. Audible suggests that there are more books in the series yet to come, which is great, but honestly this one could stand alone so don't feel the need to hold off. There are no big cliffhangers at the end so feel free to enjoy this one now.

Not a Villainess

For someone who’s supposed to be a villainess she’s more of an idiot. I’m sorry but really? She’s more stupid to fall for the stuff her professional victim little sister keeps doing. And really? The way she’s supposed to act in the plot isn’t villainous at all l saw

love that it wasnt so predictable from her past life there were unpredictable aspects of the new time line

like that there was more then one person with a brain. the villain actually got called out on things that make no sense instead of the other characters just accepting it all with out question. currently binging the 2nd novel

The reader literally skipped 20 pages

I have the hard copy of the novel in hand and decided to get the audiobook as well so I could continue to listen to the novel while cleaning and cooking. Only for the reader to literally skip 20 pages of a single chapter from a text break till the next chapter was completely taken out. I’m rather upset that this has been recorded and released as a complete novel when in fact it’s not.

I love this story (such an interesting heroine, and I love the relationship between her and the prince), so I was super sad when I realized it was missing a very important section of the book. That is now fixed! The full version is the 9 hr and 50 min one (the problem one was just over 9 hrs).

The true love story is between the girls

This is a cut and dry Isekai Do-Over. Light and fluffy, just wins. The twist of the villainess’s previous profession is interesting. Villainess would choose the friend she made in the trenches over the Prince every time if she had to and that is beautiful.

fun story can't wait for book 2

the story is nothing special but the characters are fun and they story is very enjoyable

Loved it!

I like that while her past life went down an unfortunate path, Claudia learned so so much from it and it made her a smarter person in her next life. Looking forward to book 2 as I think it explores her sex work days more.

Interesting premise, but I’m not sure the ML deserves FL.

It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t really stand out amongst that villanese iseksi stories.

Great...if they included the whole book

First this story is great. The narrator is excellent, except with Male voices...

But the issue with this audiobook is a huge section of the book is left out and it's a scene that is constantly referenced in the rest of the book. I'm just glad I read the physical book before listening to this. It makes me worried that all of Seven Seas Sirens books might be like this.

I'm hoping it's a one off mistake that they will correct.
