  • Solo With Mo: Being vs Doing

    Just a few days ago I decided to throw a poll up on my Instagram story- and see if there was something in particular you all wanted to hear more about. I gave a few suggestions and the one that stuck out was "BE-ing vs DO-ing". This was interesting to me because I feel like this is something I've talked about quite a bit- and this tells me that it needs to be talked about more. It makes sense- this isn't something that is easy to understand and implement- it's taken me the last 6-7 years to understand what that means and begin to actually integrate it into my life.

    In this episode today I go in depth on this topic and share straight from my heart- per usual:

    -How my life was starting to continuously grate on me- causing me to feel irritated, annoyed, frustrated and sometime angry.
    -What i used to cope with these feelings and ignore them.
    -The impact meditation had on shifting my ability to create more space for myself and make different decisions.
    -How starting my business forced me to face these feelings.
    -How I started to intentionally slow down and do far less.
    -My schedule now vs 5 years ago.
    -The criteria I use when deciding what to do next in my business.
    -The 4 steps I see now that I used to go from DO-ing to BE-ing.

  • Solo With Mo: Self Care & Energetic Hygiene

    I've recently felt led to talk more about my self care habits and my energetic hygiene. If you've worked with me before- you know how important this is to me and how I work with my clients to help them build better habits around taking care of themselves.

    I believe in slowing down, tuning in and giving yourself the opportunity to truly hear your heart. By doing this- your perspective and reality will start to shift as well. We've been conditioned to GO GO GO.

    In this episode I give you a quick breakdown on 12 habits/routines I have in place.

    Physical habits:
    -Meditation daily
    -Recorded affirmations
    -8-10 hours of sleep
    -Respecting my dreams and intuition- they talk to me all the time
    -Tracking my dreams
    -Tracking the miracles and synchronicities

    Energetic habits:
    -Clearing my energy with selenite every evening and occasionally during the day as needed
    -Clearing my house regularly
    -Bubbling up my energy
    -Saying no most of the time or pausing and asking for 24 hours to feel it out
    -Charging my worth
    -Creating a schedule for my work with intention

    In this episode I also mention that I'm a reflector in human design. Learning about my human design has helped me to lean in and shape habits and routines that are specific to my energy. At times it feels extreme to me- like its too much- but I believe that's truly because I haven't actually taken good care of myself until I started implementing these habits with intention.

  • Solo With Mo: What I Learned After Starting My Business
    Aug 8 2024

    This month I'm celebrating 4 years of "I love it when"!
    Before this- I had never worked for myself.

    I left my job on July 10th of 2020 with just enough money to last me through August 31st for my bills and mortgage. I've learned more in these 4 years about myself, starting and running a business, energy and intuition than ever before.

    Top Lessons:
    1. You never really know what you’re capable of until you step out into the unknown.
    2. The unknown is where the magic happens. Why? Because this is the space where you don’t have every little detail planned out :)
    3. My imagination is how my intuition communicates with me- it’s actually REAL. It all started to flow when I CHOSE TO BELIEVE myself and what I knew.
    4. 1 action step that is done with INTENTION and INTUITION can equate to 10 steps that you would normally take.
    5. Energy can’t be destroyed only moved- all sorts of things have broken down around me in the last two years. I believe energetically it’s making space for something new.
    6. Slowing down to listen = moving faster in the direction of peace and fulfillment. Your attention is pulled to whatever or whoever may be taking up the most of your energy- and if there’s something you KNOW you need to do and are avoiding- it will continue to show itself when you slow down until you take care of it.
    7. By sitting in my fears around money, facing it and feeling these feelings- I’ve been healing myself and my lineage. I now approach the energy of money from a place of love and neutrality.
    8. Speaking my truth with love and compassion is a filter. Those who stay truly want to support and love me.
    9. I’m building a business that is FREE of fear- and that excites me.
