Publisher's summary

Read by the author.

“There’s someone else.”

“We found something on the X-ray we didn’t expect.”

“We’ve eliminated your position.”

When our circumstances unravel, how do we hold on to truth, to hope, to who we’re meant to be? After Carole Holiday experienced a series of heartbreaking losses, she realized something else had slipped away: her identity. Grief had stolen her sense of self, leaving her feeling unmoored and empty. But it was not the end of her story.

Her debut book, I Don’t Know Who I Am Anymore,is for the wanderers, the waylaid, the wavering. The ones who feel weak and worthless. The ones who weep. This unique book artfully braids together Carole’s story, rich spiritual truths, and delicious recipes from a rose-covered cottage where she discovered the healing that can take place around the table.

Each chapter offers practical and spiritual companionship as you

  • embrace the realities of sadness and faith,
  • reset your foundation in the image of God,
  • redirect doubts and despair toward a God-filled purpose,
  • realize how deep grief carves space for a deeper ability to love, and
  • reclaim your value, your identity, and your incredible worth.

I Don’t Know Who I Am Anymore is a guide through those moments when you wonder if the nightmare will ever end, a testament to the truth that God has good things in store for you, and a reminder that even your pain can be a beautiful part of who you are becoming.

Soothing to a hurting soul

Carole’s voice, alone, is like candy for the ears. Soothing and precise words spill from her lips. My favorite part was hearing all the different simple, practical ways to help others who are hurting.

Completely relatable

From the start of the sample I was hooked. Looking for something on loss this was the only one that came up. Once I pressed play I was immediately invested in the story. Hearing from someone that understands loss and hurt in the same way I had to continue listening.
