Kept me interested great narrator. Not boring . First time listening to this author look forward to more.

Story was well written and author knew the subject well! The narrator is fantastic and I will look for more books she has narrated

Narrator makes a difference

The narrator sets the tone of an audio book. This one was great, really draws the scene with her narration. The story is sad and reflected of domestic violence victims. Enjoyed the book.

Had Me From The Beginning

Very well written psychological thriller - unputdownable. The ending was a bit off for me but not horrible.

Suspensful yet predictable. Relatable for those that are impacted by domestic abuse.

I really liked the entire book. Well read. Well written and flows nicely. Some things could be triggering for those impacted by domestic situations. I love that the abuser ends up actually paying for his crimes in the end, unlike most in real life.

Great book

This book caught me from the start and pulled me in the whole time. But be warned the Domestic violence and s** assault is triggering. But sadly it is common these days and i loved the authors way of showing what some woman will go thru to try get out of a bad situation.

Excellent story, wonderfully performed

Susie Althens has a voice that could read bedtime stories to the wickedest insomniac. The story was great too and although you know most of the way thru "who done it", there is still enough suspense to keep listening as often as possible. Loved it!

Ok it was good buuuut….

Ok it was worth the listen however…

The ending was so odd. Her kid going missing just felt crammed in and unnecessary and the way it was handled was just bizarre. Oh la la la…. My 14 year old ran away and he’ll call me when he “gets settled”. Like….WHAT? Is there a sequel where this is explored and explained? For me it’s what knocked a great book down to pretty good.

Very boring

I thought this book would keep me entertained, but it was ok nothing to brag about , I only finish it cause I pay for it I find myself rolling my eyes a lot and the end was even worse.Would not recommend buy it u are going to be disappointed I have no idea how it’s 5 stars
