Queer Joy

Truly great stuff here, I love getting to see Olan and Marvin as an established couple, and how they work thru stuff together. I was a little stressed at the beginning of this but I should have known to trust where we were going. This is the epitome of queer joy. Great narration, the kids voices were especially endearing for me, and was nice to hear Olan’s perspective in his emails.

Loved It

Love these characters in particular and it was so great to be back with them in their next story. The actors reading are terrific. I hope there are many more.

Perfect Ending

A beautiful ending to a beautiful story. This series got me out of a years long reading slump. Lovely narration also.

Now that’s how you finish a series!!

M. A. Wardell really knows how to close out a series. My emotions were all over the board with this story. Marvin and Olan are complete #couplesgoals when it comes to MM rom-coms and I was a ball of mush when I finished reading Husband of the Year. Wardell gives the characters such depth that you can’t help but fall in love with them. And the spice…don’t forget the SPICE. This made my mother’s green chile stew taste mild. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I can’t wait to read the Teachers in Love series all over again.

Fantastic Conclusion!

Wow, what a fantastic conclusion to an already amazing series! As always, Kirt's narration is spot on and really brings the characters to life. It was a lovely addition to have Torian narrating Olan's messages as well.

I fell in love with Marvin and Olan in Teacher of the Year and enjoyed seeing the world expand in the rest of the series. It was an absolute delight to see their story come full circle and get some wonderful cameos by the rest of the characters. I love the little community they've found for themselves. I think my favorite non romantic relationship is between Marvin and Isabella. Two people, that on paper shouldn't get along, are always there for each other and would do anything for this family they've created.

I cried happy tears reading the wedding and reception scenes. It was like warm hug and my heart was just bursting from all the love. Kudos Matt for an outstanding series!!
