best one yet

I am so glad she wrote this last book so there was closure on how her family was killed and who did it. Best one yet out of the series. I love all of her books.

Amazing End to The Series!

Although I would've loved to see Leslie and Sikes more involved, the story was still epic and delivered. So glad Abby did this book, it wouldn't have been the same.

Marvelous conclusion

Tori finally gets a chance to investigate her family’s murders when a 71 year old man is found dead in his home. There are pictures of Tori on the walls starting with the day she left the hospital.
When she’s thrown off the case she digs into her father’s notes and goes on a mission to get revenge.
Abby Craden is fabulous as usual.

Childhood lost a life filled with love- revenge?

This just is the story to answer so many questions for Tori. The most important one is what will she risk to find out who killed her family. Sam and Casey have a hard time protecting Tori from herself. I loved the twist this case took. It involved so many cities and retired cops. My favorite cop pushing all the buttons to get her revenge. Gerri Hill does not disappoint and Abby Craden brought back our detectives we love!!

Thank you Gerri Hill for another fabulous Tory Hunter book. Finding out what happened to Tory’s family was comforting and heartbreaking. Maybe you’ll write abut Tory Hunter Private Eye? I can only hope. Abby Craden was amazing as always. She brought back Casey O’Conner and brought out all her eccentricities! Brava Ladies. Gerri Hill and Abby Craden go together like peanut butter and jelly. A perfect pair.

The passion to know the “why”

Gerri Hill is an author who can tell you a love story with having the twists and turns of a suspense to bring it back to the love story. All of the characters the narrators make you feel like you’re there within the story. Love it.

O'Connor and Hunter

Feels like that O'Connor and Hunter were closer than Sam and Hunter in this one. Hunter keeping things from her or asks O'Connor first about things. Kinda disappointed in this story. Just seems Sam and Hunter weren't as close as they were.

The Lone Wolf still has her pack.

I loved it, I thought it would be cornet and predictable. She strikes out in her own Dirty Harry style and throws the continuity of the series in the trash. However, Hunter stays true to character. There are a lot of twists and turns, but it is a satisfying and to a terrific series.

Lived the book

I followed Hunter since the first book and I am glad she has completed her mission, but what about us? Will we read about her again?
