Publisher's Summary

Can you remember the last time you enjoyed the sunset, a lazy afternoon, or a lazy coffee with a friend, without any rush or an urge to do something? When was the last time you told a child, "yes, we have enough time for one more story”? And then you read it slowly and consciously, or talked to them until they fell asleep, then watched them sleep for a while?

Most of us live in an endless race for achievements, chasing more and more of everything. In that constant rush, we don't take time to enjoy life, which passes by. What we need is to slow down and make things simpler. We need to reexamine, organize, and declutter everything in our lives - from our home to our habits to our company to work to hobbies - everything. We need to purge and declutter mind, declutter stuff, declutter our home, find out what is serving us, and toss away everything else.

We offer you 30 principles (ways) to apply simplicity to our lives, and you will make more time and space for what really matters. Listening to this book, you will find out how simplicity would affect your life, and how to simplify all areas of your life - your daily activities, habits, and routines, work, home, family time, organization and systems, and your schedule. You will also learn why "enough" is a magic word, how to change your mindset for success and how to slow down and why to enjoy doing nothing. At the same time, you will release stress and many distractions. This guide to minimalism book will bring you more peace of mind, better focus, and more joy. You'll become calmer, more present, more focused, more efficient, and more satisfied.

You will discover:

  • What are your priorities in life (we will evaluate your engagements and time)
  • Why you need to learn to say no
  • Why limitation of your communication, information, and media can be useful for you (including simplifying your online life)
  • Steps to minimalism: change buying habits, tips to declutter your house, clothes, as well as decluttering your mind and in this way decluttering your life
  • How to free up time and then fill your time with doing what you love
  • What “enough” is
  • Why you need to stop multitasking
  • How to express yourself
  • How to find inner simplicity and learn to do nothing and much much more!

Choose those principles you like the most and try to incorporate them into your daily life. When you feel the difference, you will probably want to try out more of them.

Life is a precious gift. You've got an opportunity to make your heaven on Earth!

Love this book.

Love his simple way of explaining and lighting up things!!! My favorite idea from this audiobook is "It's wise NOT TO BE a hamster on a wheel in a time of globalization, and constant rush and craziness." We all need to slow down to realize that we live not only for our achievements. Create your own rules and speed and enjoy life! So true.
Peace and love!

Another great audio!

Great pearls of wisdom in a spiritual part of the audiobook. And nice pieces of advice regarding decluttering our living environment, home, clothes, email boxes, etc. A wonderful reminder that in the race to have it all, do it all, and have a perfect life, we may miss the joy along the way. Could be a daily reminder on keeping life simple and in perspective. Another great audio edition! Thank you!

I love how simple and easy this book

I love how simple and easy this book was to get through. I don't have a lot of time to listen to an overly complicated book. Just as the purpose of the book is to simplify your life; the book itself is written in a very simple, easy to follow manner. I was able to listen to it in a very short period and immediately start putting into practice many of its suggestions. My favorite principles from this book are "Learn to say no", this is what was difficult for me and "Learn what Enough is". Love!

Absolutely mind-opening.

Absolutely mind-opening. Very inspirational audiobook to be studied. It is a quick listen but has highly practical suggestions on ways to streamline and simplify your life. Especially I love mind training chapters. Other ones about cleaning and organizing living environment weren't something new for me as I am an organized person. But for sure it has sense. Can be listened to many times and every time you will catch something new.

An excellent book. Good detail.

An excellent book to listen to. I highlight some ideas, and, after I am back to this audiobook again, I find more things to highlight again. We have so much to learn; "The only thing you can get from constant rush is stress. And more stress. Also, it's the only thing you will lose if you slow down." A. Glenn.
Wise and straight to the point. Absolutely love this overview of simplifying of life.

Great audiobook.

The book is just plain down to earth practical living. I was listening to it the second time. Anthony Glenn has a way of writing that way. Just a great audiobook. I've listened to it once before, but it's good to hear it over and over.
