This was my first suspense noval, and it did not disappoint. I am more of the historical fiction type, but this book took me on a rollercoaster 🎢 of emotions!! I listened to the entire Novela in one sitting! I loved that in the end Karma peered it's little head.

I enjoyed this story from the intriguing title to the last word. The ability of the author to convey emotions we all feel, (when we trust our inner voice to protect us,) but when spoken out loud sound petty. That was my favorite. Don’t pass this one up.

I truly enjoy a great woman’s revenge story, especially when domestic violence and assault are the reason. I also enjoy stories of female empowerment and how we sometimes have to navigate the world of rough men who believe they somehow own us.
