Honest and hopeful
Honest, genuine and powerful biography about life, addiction and ultimately finding purpose amidst personal struggles. Heartbreaking but also heartwarming introduction to some special and lovely dogs. Really enjoyed listening.

Absolutely inspiring
What a wonderful and hopeful story. The amount of lives he will touch and change forever in his lifetime is his silver lining. Dogs are angels on earth. Their healing power is immeasurable and unmatched. Thank you for what you were doing for these beautiful souls. Look how they have healed yours.

Inspiring and touching
What a beautiful true story about a flawed man finding his true calling and saving countless dogs on the streets of Thailand! I didn’t want this book to end and I truly hope this is the first of many! I’m already waiting for the next installment and the movie!!!

Dogs best friend
I've followed Nial's story through twitter, YouTube, and Instagram for the past 6 months, so I thought I knew his story but with this book, I learned of how he started this mission, his story before there was Hope, and the individual stories of certain dogs. I must say that I cheered on Rodney, Hope, Jumbo, Moriah, McMuffin, Dereck, King Whacker, Beyonce, and so many others. I've cried for Giuseppe, Snoop, Angel, Tyson, and still can't stop crying for sweet Tina. This book sheds light on the hard life of street dogs and what Nial is doing to change their lives. He is the dogs best friend.

Loved it!
I finished this audiobook in two days - absolutely loved it. Niall is a gifted writer - he makes you feel like you are exactly in the moment with his descriptive writing style. He’s also a wonderful narrator. I will recommend this to family and friends, especially those who may need a little lift.
