The Five People You Meet in Heaven

By: Mitch Albom

Narrated by: Mitch Albom

From the bestselling author of Tuesdays with Morrie, a war veteran encounters the true significance of life after death in this touching modern classic.

"This book is a gift to the soul." -Amy Tan, author of The Joy Luck Club

On his 83rd birthday, Eddie dies in a tragic amusement park ride accident in an attempt to save a little girl’s life. He awakens in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a lush Garden of Eden, but a place where your earthly life is explained to you by both loved ones and distant strangers.

As the story builds to its stunning conclusion, Eddie desperately seeks redemption in the still-unknown last act of his life: Was it a heroic success or a devastating failure? The answer, which comes from the most unlikely of sources, is as inspirational as a glimpse of heaven itself.

In The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Mitch Albom will change everything you’ve ever thought about the afterlife—and the meaning of our lives here on earth.

Excellent Audiobook from Mitch A

I had previously read the book but listening to the story narrated by Mitch accompanied by a soundtrack was something very special. Brilliant!

Poignant

A very sweet story of an oh-so-typical man who never felt he fit in. From the five characters he meets, he finally learns, he fit in exactly where he was meant to be. A good lesson for us all…

Amazing

I absolutely loved this book! It made me cry with each person, and I liked how it came full circle in the end. Enjoyed it very much.

Lesson to be learn

I enjoyed the story line and the meeting of the five people in heaven. Everyone had a story to tell and each character had a purpose in his life. I loved it

Simply amazing

I’ve read this book in the past, loved it. But hearing it read by Mitch, his tones, voice change for Eddie & listening to it the way he intended for it to be read.. I binged and listens to the whole thing. Love love love this story- just finished it & already have, “the next person you meet in heaven,” downloaded to listen to!!
