After reading a very long 3 book series, I needed something short and sweet to get over my listening slump. This book was exactly what I needed. An amazing modern twist on Peter Pan with just enough detail and perfect steamy scenes. The narrators did an amazing job, especially the male reader. Highly recommend!

Loved this story! I’m not usually a stand alone book reader but this one enthralled me from the beggining and I never wanted to stop listening! The way the whole story comes together at the end was *chefs kiss*

I really enjoyed the story line. the way she incorporated Peter pan characters. alot more graphic then I expected but still enjoyable.

Now that was an adventure. little bit of everything. it was intense hearing somethings, but that made me want to hear more. voice acting was great too. 👍🏾

One thing that i can say i ABSOLUTELY loved is that is was “same character, different story”. It was a captivating story with twist and spicy scenes. You immediately love James and the more you learn, the more you hear the internal dialogue; its like you heart is taken haha the fact that so many things catch you and when you start putting the pieces together. Its amazing! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed this. It is a quick listen. The story is what it is. Enjoyable, predictable, and the perfect recovery novel.

The readers are some of my favorite.

This book was amazing! I love retellings, and while this was a book inspired by rather than retold, you absolutely get the Pan feeling with it. Just about every character name was from the Barrie classic, and so were many of the locations, and it brought a smile to my face each time one was introduced. As someone who hasn't read this author before and isn't even a fan of Peter Pan, this exceeded my expectations. It was darker than I expected, and while it does get rather gory, the darkness didn't bother me. I was engaged with the audiobook narration too, and can't wait to read more of this series.

I’d give this a 3.5. It was pretty good. Not super dark … Hook has some serious issues from a horrible past. Wendy is trusting and naïve. I don’t want to say much to spoil anything- it was pretty good. I have however found a new quote I want for a tattoo. Not my favorite book, but one of my favorite quotes I’ve heard in a book. “Straight on ‘til morning.” I did the KU whisper sync - the audible version was good. Loved the male narrators voice!

““Straight on ‘til morning.” My head tilts. “What’s that mean?” His arm wraps around my shoulders, bringing me in close. “That means you don’t quit until you get what you want. Even if it takes all damn night. Understand?””
