His to Lead is the 4th novella in the Wasteland Temptations series and Mac's POV. Mac and Cal are living together, but Mac still blames himself for Cal running away. He's also afraid Cal will run again, so he hides his true feelings to avoid being hurt. When Mac's army buddy Rex (and his boy toy Devon) show up, tensions rise until boundaries are set (watch yes, share no). This MM dystopian series keeps getting better because we learn more about the characters and all their emotional baggage. And chapter 4...so spicy.

The solo narration from Aiden Snow was exactly as you would imagine...perfection. Nobody compares (in my book) to Mr. Snow's uber-protective alpha voice, but we also get his performance of all the characters in this story. So so good. 5/5 stars!

I’m not crying, you’re crying!

I can’t believe is the end and ugh I want more!!!! I was not prepared for how much I would come to love this series, specially Devon and Cal. Those two stole the show for me in this book! And don’t get me started on how we can see this time around —on Mac’s pov— how their relationship FINALLY progresses into such a masterpiece I’m all fluffy inside. Aiden did brilliantly bring him Mac to life in such a way that I’m obsessed now.

I love the way EV closed the chapter on a lot of important settings of this series, yet left the door open for more (yes Joker, I’m looking at you (IYKYK)), so I can only hope this is not the last time we see of these four chaotic devils

Yes, it’s spicy, but I wish she would write a longer book. I love the characters and the plot. I am looking for more books by this author.

Ok so I lied before, this one is my absolute favorite out of the four!

1. Devon does NOT play about Rex 😂 the way he went for Mac every time in the beginning made me cackle
2. Mack & Cal are absolute delicious…Cal’s kink are soooo delicious I had to listen to the audio twice; back to back listen

Cal & Mack are definitely perfect for each other. They are what each other needs.

I read this one as an audiobook and Aiden Snow 😮‍💨 he has always been in my top 5 and he still doesn’t disappoint. His deep voice is everything. Gah I will probably relisten to the whole series again back to back to back.

Nice Wrap Up

This is the final book in the Wasteland Series and it wraps things up nicely. We get Mac's perspective this time and we get to see how his worry and fear has been affecting his relationship with Cal. We get to see Cal and Devon bonding and learning how to do things together and we get to see Mac and Rex's relationship. This story is short and very spicy so if you do not like light plot and heavy spice, this series is not for you. Overall I give His to Lead 3.5 stars.

The narration was great and I am very happy that they really showcased the different ages in the narrators. 5 stars for the narration.

Enjoyed this series

This I believe is the final book and it brings all 4 of our men together. Of course there’s high tensions but each couple is able to offer encouragement and advice for the other couple. It was nice to see old friends back together and watch the 4 adjust to surviving the world together.

Apocalyptic romance

His To Lead brings two loved couples together in the post apocalyptic world. And who’s yummy voice to we get to enjoy? Aiden freaking Snow! Oh how I love the tone of this man’s voice! At the end of His To Break Cal and Mac set out to find Rex, Mac’s old friend. When they do find him Rex has his own younger boyfriend Devon. Did things go smoothly? Nope, where’s the fun in that? This book is twice as spicy since we have two age gap relationships to drool over. I love the found family aspect of His To Lead so much. As much as I loved the 3 previous books, this one might be my new favorite.

His to Lead is the fourth book in the Wasteland Temptations series. This book is told from Mac’s POV. Cal finally came back to Mac’s house. Mac is willing to give Cal anything he asks for except to touch him. Mac scared him and now that Cal came back he doesn’t want him to leave ever again. Cal wants Mac’s touch and is going to try and convince him that he won’t ever leave again. Rex and Devon show up at Mac’s house. I have really enjoyed this series. This book does contain strong BD$M themes and may have Trigger Warnings for some.

Aiden Snow did a fantastic job narrating this book.
