Oh wow! Love this!

Short, hot, and worth it. I really enjoyed this book and narrator did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I honestly recommend this.

Not my favorite by this author but still good

Everyone that reads this genre is open to the @$$hole that eventually reforms right before the HAE. In this book, I never “fell in love” with the H because he never recognized his faults and changed. The h was a little disappointing because she just accepted it. I will note that this maybe a cultural thing and I tried to apply that to my analysis.
This is a great author and I loved the narrator. She could have done slightly better with the male voice but overall a really good book.

This is a great book. I enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed this book. I like possessive romance books. I would definitely read more by this author.

Fun and Sassy!

Two years ago, Serena Lee was deeply in love with Shawn Choi, but his crazy protectiveness and unrelenting possessiveness made her run. Her luck with men has been abysmal and, to help her out, Serena's friend, Janine, bought her a fake engagement ring to fend them all off.  She's standing in line, waiting for her coffee, when she hears a familiar, low voice calling her name. Sure enough, it's Shawn Choi, her ridiculously sexy ex and he's not letting her get away this time. He falls right back into character and, in a manner somewhere between neanderthal and sweetheart, he makes it clear just how much he wants her and won't take no for an answer. Serena flashes her engagement ring to show him that she's taken, but he turns it into another chance to tell her that she belongs to him. The author makes it work by giving Shawn a personality that may be brash, but he is so sincere and charming that I couldn't help but want them to be together. Short, sweet and definitely heated, this is a wonderful story and K.D. Sawyer brings it alive on audio. She succeeds in portraying both Shawn and Serena's characters and their personalities.
