Hooked from the start! this is my 1st book by Crystal Kaswell, & I can't wait to read another. The narrators were the best, as always!

Not a bad book

I love all things dirty! When I decide to listen to a book there needs to be a few things that make it enjoyable for me; A good story and good narration. I decided to read this book twice, making notes as I went. Eve Miller is a virgin, and while I have some problems with virgins in stories, mostly that they never really seem to be relatable, this one was. I was taken back to my teens (Eve is 18 in this story) when I was trying to decide if I wanted "Steve" or "John" to pop my cherry. There was a roller coaster of emotions I felt back then. But once it happened, I was fine and I lived. But the guys I am talking about are nothing like the guy in the story. His name is Ian Hunt. He pretty much stalked Eve and there were times in the story when he said as much. It was like he was obsessed (went to where she worked and searched for her) with her. Also, keep in mind that he found out that someone wanted to buy her virginity. It didn't take away from the story at all making this a love story where she does find that she loves Ian.

Obsession, stalker-ish tendencies aside, the story is solid, even when I found that the first few chapters were a little slow to start. Once the story got going though, it took off in a wonderful flow. If you can get past the first bits leading up to Eve nd Ian meeting, you will like this one.

Did I like this book? Yes. I was surprised that this book did something for me. I usually hate alpha males like Ian, but after the author walked me through the story as I was reading it, I grew to like Eve and Ian. If anything, this book is going into my pile to keep and re-read a few more times. Warts and all, this was a good story.

Obsessed

Ian and Eve. They have an undeniable chemistry in and out of the sheets. Eve needs to take care of her sister, Addy, anyway possible. Ian is too hurt and damaged to trust anyone, even himself. But they meet (not in person) and unbeknownst to Eve through her online blog-Original Sin. It’s love at first reading for Ian; though he’d never admit it. And for Eve, it happens the first time their hands touch. And then they’re both falling down the rabbit hole like in Alice in Wonderland. I’m obsessed with this book-the story, the narrators, the words. I keep going back again and again. Like I’m part of their world. Crystal Kaswell. You really did it this time-you’ve written the perfect love story. And the sex is hot, hot, hot.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Heartfelt & Sensual🔥

I loved this book, the story is amazing, it drew me right from the start and captivated me straight to the end. Crystal Kaswell is a gifted author, she creates interesting storylines and characters that are complex, realistic and easy to relate to. This is Ian and Eve’s story and I adored both of them, two people from different worlds wind up being perfect for each other in so many ways. Eve Miller lives with her sister, pays all the bills and is starting college soon. She is barely making ends meet working as a bartender at a strip club, when a customer offers to buy her virginity she considers it. Eve loves to write and pours her heart and soul into her blog, little does she know she gained an admirer, that admirer being Ian Hunt, a British Billionaire living in the States. He has never met Eve but when he reads that she is considering the offer for her virginity he feels the need to find her, stop her and make her his own offer. Since technology is his field he finds her with ease and is even more intrigued by her. Ian’s ex-wife broke his heart and it left him damaged, he has trust issues and does not do longterm relationships. But he has a proposition for Eve, he wants more than her virginity, he wants her for 30 days and offers a generous amount of money for her time. When the time is up hey walk away from each other. The money would make her life so much easier but she wonders if she can do it and and walk away with her heart intact when their time is up. Unable to pass on the offer she goes for it and wow, these two are made for each other, the chemistry between them is smoking and they are intellectually perfect for each other. There is a lot of great dialogue in this book including inner dialogue. Ian is definitely swoon worthy, inner demons and all. Eve is a strong independent woman and what I liked most about her is she was her own person and stayed true to herself. This book is beautifully plotted and there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, some angst, heartfelt moments and a sensual romance. Crystal Kaswell, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Shane East and Vanessa Edwin are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They did an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. They captured their persona perfectly, grasped their emotions as well as their passion which can be heard in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧
