We need more gritty, medieval horror!

Short but exciting ride, this was. Also based on somewhat historical accuracies, adding even more flavour to the mix.

Simple and straightforward dread

Loved the build up of dread, and the mystery. Wish the end was a little longer, but I understand what the author was doing. Great listen, going to have to buy a hard copy.

the only negative of this book is it not being longer, ill be dammed if it's not one of the bests I've heard

I just wish the story was longer. I highly recommend it. Giles is consistently good, and the narration is excellent.

I cannot recommend enough. This book is like a historical Warhammer fantasy with knights and demons.
