We need more gritty, medieval horror!

Short but exciting ride, this was. Also based on somewhat historical accuracies, adding even more flavour to the mix.

Simple and straightforward dread

Loved the build up of dread, and the mystery. Wish the end was a little longer, but I understand what the author was doing. Great listen, going to have to buy a hard copy.

Great narration for this short, but fun horror story. I wished it was longer, but oh well

I thoroughly enjoyed the novella, but the ending felt a bit tapered to me. Still good.

Fantastic Medieval Horror

Fantastic dark imagery and atmosphere. Fans of Dark Souls and Elden Ring will appreciate the style, narrative, and mystery of this work. Truly wish there were more horror novels in this sub-genre of dark fantasy. Well worth your time.
