Great book!

The writing is SPECTACULAR! Cannot wait until the second book. The author is so talented. This book was a joy to narrate.

so much tension. so much angst. so much banter... so. many. emotions.

twists. turns. secrecy. I really didn't see some of it coming towards the end.. and the ENDING. gahhh I just... how long do I have to wait for book 2?!

I can’t wait for book 2

Soooo good. The love story. The witches. All of it. But that ending… how am I supposed to wait for book 2?! Highly recommend but it will leave you neeeeeeding more.

I am gutted having to wait for the next book! Patiently waiting for the story to unfold, this ended in a wildfire (literally).

Incredible Story!

What a delicious wave of secrets, betrayal, loyalty, love, and heartbreak!
As my first book by this author, I chose well. It was the perfect balance of everything I love a story to be. The push & pull between the main characters, the angst, the ideal pacing of relationship building, and the twist...oh my lawdy, THE TWIST!!! Not a cliff hanger, but a good segue to the next book.
KC wrote my favorite kind of characters, strong, but flawed. No whining, no cowering when all the while professing strength, no constant self-deprecating to the point where you start skipping dialog, and at no point did I want to punch a character for stupidity.
The world building was on-point & the story flowed smoothly. Great narration too boot!
I'm looking forward to the next installment!
