Perfect Balance

It’s hard to find a story with seamless character development AND romance that doesn’t make you roll your eyes. The story is fast-paced but not rushed; the characters have some depth but aren’t cliche; the romance just enough of a tease. And I always love a story with multiple POV’s. I wouldn’t have minded if the story had been a little longer so a few things could have been developed more but it’s possible I’m saying that because I didn’t want it to end!

I do wish, however, they would have used two narrators. The woman who reads it did a great job but they might as well do the alternating chapters justice and alternate narrators as well.

Loved is an understatement

I loved this book so much that I purchased it in every format. Even the UK formats.

It’s not just for YA!

I haven’t written a review in ages, but this book was worth it! I was hooked every chance I got to listen. The story was fantastic, the narration top-notch, and I’m so glad there’s a 2nd book. Don’t let the ‘YA’ (young adult) label stop you—this one’s a must-listen!

Broke my reading slump!!

The voice acting is soooo good, kept me interested the entire time
The plot, characters, pacing, magic and twists were all captivating and kept me listening straight for days !! I recommend for getting out of a slump or trusting a new release for sure

I cannot WAIT for the next book!

This story was completely captivating and I completely fell in love with the characters. I need to know what happens next immediately!
