Publisher's summary

The world teeters on the brink of destruction.

The people who should be saving the Earth ignore Jason Asano's warnings and choose to loot the house as it burns down around them. He lacks the strength to save the world himself, but resolves to do it anyway, impossible be damned.

The impossible, in this case, means seizing a power that no mortal should touch. It's a choice from which there is no turning back, and marks Jason's first step into a wider cosmos that he is not yet ready to face.

Holding the fate of two worlds in his hands, Jason must decide for himself what home truly means.

It’s a blend of sci-fi and fantasy, depending on how it comes to be that our main character ends up living inside a virtual reality. the point of LitRPG is not how we get there, but that we get to be in this virtual reality period, living life as a badass video-game character. The ending

When I first looked at the length of the book, I was a little concerned, I was even more concerned with the length of the End Credits. The last 5 minutes of the End Credits, you know and don't know what's going to happen. You want to know more and the ending leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for Book 7, keep up the awesome work Shirtaloon!!!

Another amazing book in the series!

Such an amazing series! and there's so much still to come! I would heavily suggest joining his Patreon and reading ahead, plus you can help him out so he can keep making great content! Heath Miller's narration really shines in this series. I don't know how they do it, but keep up the amazing work Shirt and Heath!

Plot advancer and filler

I loved the book, while I do recognize that it was an end to a story arc and filler to put the past to rest, I do not feel like it took away from the series. The book was significantly shorter and I loved the longer books and this one just feels like a patch rather than a continuation. the quality however did not suffer so I still love this series.

Too short

I liked it, it's still in line with the other books. It's just short, well it feels that way to me. And if I were Emir I would of cut anchor. Dropped everyone in the water right then and there. Then sail away in a skif, alone. But that's me.

An arc complete

while not my favorite arc of the series it still stands as an important one tying up the loose ends of Jason's past mostly what lent me to giving this such a high review is that not only did it hit in the feels more often than not but it also lent to the levity and inter personal relationships we have come to know and love with the epilog and who doesn't love stash.

waiting as patiently as possible for book 7 as I can... asap I need my fix of half God smart mouths now man!

One of the best modern fantasy series

Damn what a final sentence that one had, made me tear up. this entire series is phenomenal, love the characters and Heath Miller injects such an enormous amount of life into the entire thing that I couldn't imagine enjoying this series any other way. the writing is excellent, characters and world building superb and as a fan of other series with giant wait times between books I can't properly Express how much I appreciate the authors speed of delivery, the wait is painful but not agonizing and each installment is so satisfying. lots of this book felt like wrapping up threads to get Jason back home but it was still a pleasant ride and as I said the last sentence along was so powerful I teared up.keep it coming!
