I really sweet story

I just didn’t like the male narrator’s version of the female voice. The story was sweet with a little bit of spice. Definitely a modern beauty and the beast.

Make Narrator annoying female voice

It’s a compelling book, love this whole series. Samantha Britmoor is solid as always, She does a good female voice and a great male voice for a woman, amazing actually. She does turn a lot of non question statements into questions which is a vocal tick but maybe it’s cute. It’s ok but I’d prefer less questions. My beef here is with the male narrator, Wayne Mitchell does a great dude voice but his female voice sounds like he’s holding his nose and voices her as an annoying child. This shouldn’t have gone to publication, that should have been corrected. If I hadn’t already bought this I’d just read the book not listen.

Beauty Tames The Beast

This was an enjoyable & entertaining retelling of Beauty & The Beast. A slow burn, age-gap small town romance that gave me all the swoony feelings.
Enjoyed both of the narrators.

Good story but….

The male narrator should never ever ever never do a falsetto female voice. I have never had such a visceral “cringe’ reaction - it became Pavlovian at some point bc I just started to assume a defensive stance as soon as he started his part. Now, his male voice is “chef’s kiss”….. super good…. The pendulum swings hard on this one.

I loved both narrators!! the male narrator had the perfect amount of emotion for me. this book really grabbed me by the heart.

It’s like two different characters

The male narrators voice for Mal was amazing and So sexy BUT his female voice was the worst. It was like a completely different character from the female narrator.
He voiced her like a child. So whiny and immature.
I ended up just fast forwarding as much as possible.
The story line was cute. But I won’t listen to more from the series.

No Audio Issues for Me

A super cute slow-burn grumpy-sunshine romance. I really love the cheekiness of the FMC and the male narrator's impression of her really drives home just how annoying the MMC finds her.
I didn't experience any glitching audio in my copy. Looking forward to book 2!

Great fun

The story happily ever maybe was very entertaining. The female narrator was one of the best. She reminded me of Xans. The mail also had a delicious voice, but when he spoke as a female, it was a little weird sounding a bit like Truman Capote.

 The characters and plot were both complex yet filled with humor. A couple things were a bit too difficult to swallow. One was the father figure feigning suicide just so Mel would feel sorry for him and offer him the money that he needed. Yeah right. The other was Mel being so stupid as to believe Petite was really that bad at cooking in the beginning. However, I understand both exaggerated instances were probably necessary for the furtherance of the plot.
