This is the story of my journey of recovery in dealing with paranoid schizophrenia. I have been learning throughout the years how to live and cope with this mental illness. It is a very "hard on the family" illness. In my journal, I experienced all hallucinations. Even what I call "Touch Feel" hallucinations are extremely terrifying, as are the auditory and visual hallucinations. The whole journey of schizophrenia is scary, but it does go back in remission, as my doctor put it. I think of it as spiritual warfare....
Delusional thinking is just part of the illness, but with the right medication combo, vitamins and minerals, and diet, the illness can act as if you're not sick anymore, but there is no cure! Yet....
