Horrible!

If this was meant to be the sequel to the book "God Don't Play," there was no need for a continuation. And Recorded Audio, can you PLEASE find another narrator? I mean, come on, Patricia R. Floyd's voice is so tired and predictable. You can just picture her rolling her neck and eyes while reading the script. It took me about 3 weeks to finish, which is unheard of. It just didn't hold my attention. But I guess if you're looking for a bedtime story, go for it. It definitely induces sleep.

ANOTHER LISTENING PLEASURE

I enjoy this series because it passes time for me at work without getting too distracted; however, the book is extremely descriptive and repetitive at times.

Additionally, I was a little disappointed with this story because I felt that the personalities of the main character and her husband was opposite of that in the previous book. It just seemed unlikely to me. I liked that they were in love with each other. In one book they are one way, and then totally opposite in the next. Perhaps if there were a story leading up to the events, the transition would have been easier. I don't want to spoil the ending so I won't say too much except that whatever happened to love and trust and faith?

Overall, still a great listen. I will be getting the next book.

Hope this helps.

Mary Monroe never disappoints!

This whole series will have you laughing, pissed off, and ready to slap someone throughout its entirety. This series is a must read. Patricia Floyd is an awesome narrator. I get excited to see her name pop up on an audible book. I know she’s going to bring the drama and emotion with her voice.

Displeasing

First I would like to say that I love this author, Mary Monroe. I was introduced to her writing thru Mrs. Wiggins, I was immediately hooked on this sisters writing. I place all of her books on my wish list, started with the God Series. Preceded through the first two books and fell in love with Annette and her story. At times, I admit I had to fast forward a bit but just let it go. Finally I get to the third book God Ain't Blind story is alright but with a lot of issues at least for me. I understand repeating a lil bit of the previous book (although I don't understand why someone would start a series with the third book) but Just a lil bit. Second and most importantly for me anyway is the profanity. For real, I am not a prude, and over 50 years and I just do not think it's necessary at all and it makes me see this author in a whole different light. So I will not get to finish this series that I love so much but because of Mrs. Wiggins I will give another book of Ms. Monroe another try in the future.

I love it! Super great!

Great book, but I love Mary Monroe and every book I've read from her so far. I can't wait to find out what happens in the last two books.

Annette is still a wimp

I was so annoyed that Annette let her best friends child, Jade, talk about her like a dog & make fun of her...to her face!!! You lost weight and you still letting this child talk to you with such disrespect? I was hoping that she would slap her at least once after trying to steal her husband.

The fact that they were in the mall having a conversation where Jade is asking Annette how much she weighs....and Annette just confesses it all like this is normal conversation. Who does that? Ugh!!! Please write stories like you know at least one Black woman who has been cheated on (or any color woman for that matter). 🙄🙄
