Horrible!

If this was meant to be the sequel to the book "God Don't Play," there was no need for a continuation. And Recorded Audio, can you PLEASE find another narrator? I mean, come on, Patricia R. Floyd's voice is so tired and predictable. You can just picture her rolling her neck and eyes while reading the script. It took me about 3 weeks to finish, which is unheard of. It just didn't hold my attention. But I guess if you're looking for a bedtime story, go for it. It definitely induces sleep.

ANOTHER LISTENING PLEASURE

I enjoy this series because it passes time for me at work without getting too distracted; however, the book is extremely descriptive and repetitive at times.

Additionally, I was a little disappointed with this story because I felt that the personalities of the main character and her husband was opposite of that in the previous book. It just seemed unlikely to me. I liked that they were in love with each other. In one book they are one way, and then totally opposite in the next. Perhaps if there were a story leading up to the events, the transition would have been easier. I don't want to spoil the ending so I won't say too much except that whatever happened to love and trust and faith?

Overall, still a great listen. I will be getting the next book.

Hope this helps.

I needed Rhoda!

I was really hoping Rhoda would have stepped in last minute and handled the Lewis situation. Rhoda is gangsta.

Goed Aint Blind

So I dnt know what to say... I really dnt like the fact that Annette and Peewee are gong through something that jeopardizes their marriage. They are so good together and they were friends first and they have a darling child! Rhoda shouldn't have been so hell bent on Annette have this affair. I also feel like they made Annette look like a damn fool and fall victim to Louis Baine and his shenanigans. However, I am glad they moved past it. But, I also feel like Peewee should have told Annette what he was going through. She is his wife. When a partner feels less than they usually fall for the person who takes up that void. The narrator is ok she just doesn't have enough enthusiasm.

Not bad

It felt like I’d read it before. Not sure if it because I use to follow her closely when I was younger or if the story is a repeat. The climax happened late in the plot and it was barely a fizzle compared to other storylines.
