Super sweet and really hot

Who knew that the biggest cinnamon roll in the series could dirty talk like a pro?

Anyway, very well written, with an interesting setting, great characters, a lot of action—heh, take that however you’d like—and very nicely spicy.

The performance brought all the characters to life. Well done!

Just pure love

Each book is just as good ad the last one. Rig is so cute and I just loved his story.

Just as good in audio!

I’ve already read this in print, but it was great to hear the voices of Rig and Gloam. Not so much Mary {shudder} but I guess she’s a (totally evil) part of the story. Looking forward to Moth and Seraph!

Oh this book was absolutely fantastic! It was everything I was hoping to expect and more, I’m obsessed with this universe!
And that ending makes me so excited to read the next book!

I’m telling you, Michael Lesley is IT! One of the best narrators I’ve ever listened to, I can’t wait for him to narrate the rest of this universe, I mean I never want him to stop 😆 He outdid himself with this one! So Good!

Absolutely adored this one!

Gloam and Rig are the cutest sweetest cinnamon rolls to ever exist. Sweet babies subjected to the unspeakable, especially Gloam. Mary is true evil and I hope the new villains introduced in this book get their commupance post haste. This installment had excellent plot and romance! Rig is hilariously lusty after his thick thirst trap. Michael Lesley does a seriously amazing job with this series and his voices for Gloam and Rig really made them real for me. I'll most certainly by re listening to this one constantly.

Excuse the title I’m just so sad and I can’t listen to the other books. I have to wait but this book was so good just like the other ones I wish you guys can tell us when the new one is going to be coming out.

Excellent Story

Gloam and Rig's story is incredibly touching. This book is so well written and impeccably narrated. I love the entire series, but there's something about these two that really steals my heart every time I read it.

Gloam & Adam

Riggs is so freaking adorable. He is such a brave soul. Once Gloam caught his attention there was no going back. Man the more you listen to this story the more you hate Mary. It’s heartbreaking to hear the story of how Gloam became a captive but little did he know the light at the end of tunnel would be a tiny human named Adam. I loved their story.

Another day, another Lily Mayne finish. I feel like all I’m doing is repeating myself at this point another five stars, another masterful addition to this beautiful dystopian world she’s created.

I definitely fell in head over heels in love with Rig and Gloam and while the spice was *spicy,* the quiet moments were what really sold this story. Once again while the world and story are fantasy, the characters are so very relatable. Perfection.

I’m usually a binge reader but this series has its grip on me like no other (ok maybe like TJ Klune’s Green Creek or Onley James’s Necessary Evils or Lark Taylor’s Reckless Damned). The second I finish a book, I’m throwing myself into the next in the series. I cannot wait for Moth’s story. (I’m already on chapter 3 before writing this review). I know I’m going to have to circle back and read the novellas, but at this point, I cannot stop myself from tearing through the main novels.

Shout out to Michael Lesley. Once again, perfection. I can’t imagine not reading this series via audiobook. His performance adds so much depth to an already perfect series.

Fantastic

Yet another great addition to the monstrous series. The narration is impressive, a lot of different characters to voice in this series, and there’s no trouble telling them apart. I’m now impatiently waiting for moth.
