  • We all make mistakes, so how is it we can still honor someone who has let us down or messed up? The answer is we honor the person, not their choices. Genesis 9 shares a story of a father who made a poor choice, and how his children responded. One dishonors him and the other two honor. So too, we have the choice to honor or dishonor others when we see their failings and then respond. In the end, we either allow God's covering over that person's failure or hold it back in unforgiveness.
