Marcus Evans was the love of my life until a cruel twist of fate tore us apart.

I told myself I moved on.

Until seven years later, when he comes walking back into my classroom, a completely different man than the hockey star I fell in love with–and father to two little girls.

I've done my best not to think about him since a quickie wedding in Vegas. Only it turns out, those marriage papers might still be valid after all.

There's no escaping Marcus now that he's back in my life. The more we see one another, the more I see the man I fell in love with. When I learn the truth about what tore us apart, the icy walls around my heart melt.

I swore I'd never fall in love again. Second chances? They're too good to be true. Yet this time, I want to take that leap.

Even if it might break me in the end.

Game Misconduct is a single dad, second chance, enemies to lovers, hockey romance with a guaranteed HEA!

Second chance romance, while decisions in your early 20’s can be hard, grief added to it compounds. The years of “maturing” while done apart could have been done together… great story.

Excellent performance! Endearing story line.

This was a cute story but I felt that Harper forgave Mar us too easily. I realize he was scared but I don’t feel like it was a good excuse. She should’ve let him suffer a little more. Instead she pretty much forgave him instantly and let him right back in! It wasn’t until the very end that she got scared again. She should’ve had a feeling of too good to be true given what happened before. The good thing was there was no angst. But a little bit of angst can make the story better.

She forgave way too easily!

The story was good but it’s like the actors were reading the story. There was no emotions or anything.

Meh

I truly enjoyed the storyline ☺️. It was enjoyable to listen to the diversity of characters and personalities. The narration was good too great 👍 👌 👏 job.

nothing like a spring on you kid story

The main characters made stupid mistakes, especially the male protagonist. Then they never tried to communicate. They both whine and bemoan their fate for several years. Then, accidentally meet again. How they never met, living in the same city and why it’s such a surprise for them, it’s unclear. It’s obvious they could have gotten in touch with each other at any time in the past but didn’t. Then they finally clarify what happened, forgive and get back together. The rest is meaningless dialogue, uninteresting non-events and some more stupidity and miscommunication. Sex scenes narrated by Alex Kydd sound sordid somehow. I had to skip.
Basically, this could have been an uninteresting short story, instead of an uninteresting and very long novel.
Narration is OK, inasmuch as they don’t mispronounce words but I had to rewind several times to understand some words. The narration speed is otherwise slow, with long pauses. Both narrators have overall annoying styles.
I wish I skipped this one.

Boring
