The story was great
I enjoyed the story. That was the only reason I stuck to the end but for me the performance was a bit over acted in parts. Margot sounded way too strangled way too many times. I’m sure a lot of people may prefer this kind of super performance I guess. For me it was a bit too much and exhausting in some parts.
I’m glad I finished it tho.

Horrifying Yet Satisfying
Loved this book! The characters really come to life in this terrifying tale. I couldn't stop listening and was drawn in by the author's beautiful writing and the narrator's excellent performance.

One of her better ones, I recommend it!
At first I thought this is going to be a bad copy of the movie US but it turned out to be a decent story. I rate this one of her better books.
Audiobook performance was good, although perhaps at times got carried away with the exasperation.

Just ok
I love Darcy Coates books but this one felt a bit too slow. The narrator made the main character sound like a fragile woman who was at the brink of a mental breakdown at every second. The author started the book too slow by adding a bit too many descriptive words. I felt like she was trying to stretch the book by adding descriptive words, you know like what you did in 5th grade when the teacher said she wanted 500 words on your essay lol. Nevertheless it was entertaining and I managed to finish it.
