Story
A Course in Miracles (ACIM) - the self-study spiritual-thought system that teaches the way to love and forgiveness - has captivated the minds and captured the hearts of millions of people. Delivering inner peace where fear and pain once prevailed, its universal message is unsurpassed in its power to heal. Yet many students report that they have difficulty grasping the principles or keeping up with the lessons. So even while they yearn for the spiritual freedom the course offers, they put the book aside, hoping to get to it one day.

Story
From Loving One to One Love: Transforming Relationships Through A Course in Miracles is not another how-to-fix-it guide to relationships. The Course's take on relationships is radically different from that of the rest of the world. Relationships are not really about "love" if by love we mean idealization and specialness. They are not merely agreements negotiated between two parties to promote survival and contentment. Rather, according to the Course, relationships are classrooms for enlightenment: for breaking the ego's grip on the mind and awakening to the true Self.

What would you do if you were sitting quietly in your living room when a mysterious couple appeared from out of nowhere—and then told you they were “ascended masters” who had come to reveal some shocking secrets of existence and teach you the miraculous powers of advanced forgiveness? When two such teachers appeared before Gary Renard in 1992, he chose to listen to them (and ask a lot of impertinent questions). The result is this startling book: an extraordinary record of 17 mind-bending conversations that took place over nearly a decade, reorienting the author’s life.

This suffering emerges in crippling self-judgments and conflicts in our relationships, in addictions and perfectionism, in loneliness and overwork - all the forces that keep our lives constricted and unfulfilled. Radical Acceptance offers a path to freedom, including the day-to-day practical guidance developed over Dr. Brach's 20 years of work with therapy clients and Buddhist students.

A typical prayer goes something like this: "Please help us find the money to pay our mortgage this month." Saying the prayer may help you feel like the burden of that month's mortgage has been lifted, but the part of you that feeds on fear will simply seek out new financial worries to keep you awake at night. Old patterns remain intact.
In contrast, asking, "Please heal my fear-based thoughts about our mortgage" lifts the burden and relieves the need to re-create that fear and hold onto it.

If you were raised to believe that painful emotions are a sign of weakness, or if being vulnerable has always made you feel unsafe, then you may have survived by creating a perfect-looking life - a life where you appear to be successful, engaged, and always there for others. The problem? You're filled with self-criticism and shame, and you can't allow yourself to express fear, anger, loss, or grief. You recognize something is wrong, but you're not sure what exactly - only that you feel trapped and alone. If this sounds like you, you may have perfectly hidden depression (PHD).

We can learn to use positive words and act out of our hearts rather than react with hurt or anger. When we stop focusing on problems solutions tend to appear. Happy mind, happy life. If we change how we respond to external stimuli, our mindset follows. The great human quest is to discover who we really are-a discovery that changes our lives and the lives of those around us. With The Deep Heart, spiritual teacher and psychotherapist Dr. John J. Prendergast invites us on a pilgrimage within. The "deep heart" is Prendergast's term for our heart center-a subtle center of emotional and energetic sensitivity, relational intimacy, profound inner knowing, and unconditional love. "The heart area is where we feel most deeply touched by kindness, gratitude, and appreciation, yet it is also where we feel most emotionally wounded".

This book gives EVERYONE the tools to LOVE LIFE!
I bought this book last year because it was from a new author I had never heard of before, and its title and cover caught my attention immediately at the bookstore. I had never considered myself someone who suffered from anxiety, but I knew several people who did. So I decided to buy the book so that I could read it and then recommend it to people if I thought it could be helpful to them.
Boy was I ever glad that I bought this book! From the very first page, I was immediately drawn into it. And as I continued reading, I realized that this book wasn't just for people who suffer from anxiety, it was for everybody who lives in this world and deals with everything the world throws at us on a day-to-day basis.
This book is a Godsend! It is so easy to read and understand, and the audio version is even easier to listen to. I have now read the book twice, and I've listened to the Audible version once, and I know that I will be listening to it again over the holidays.
I think everyone should listen to this book! I have now bought the Kindle version and I have given it to friends as gifts. And everyone I have given it to has loved it and has thanked to me.
As Corinne Zupko makes perfectly clear, anxiety is not a label of shame that anyone needs to wear - ever! In fact, it can be a gift! But you have to first learn how to see it that way, and to understand the core and root of where our anxiety comes from, so that we see where we went sideways in our thought process so that we can get ourselves back on track. Corinne Zupko helps the reader understand all of this, and she stays with us on our entire "journey".
But you don't need to take my word for anything that I'm saying. Log into your Amazon account and order the hard copy, or the Kindle version, or the audiobook, because you won't go wrong with any other of them. They are all gifts of love --- to yourself, and/or to everyone you share them with!
Thank you, Ms. Zupko, for writing this book, and especially for making it into an audiobook!

Relatable and useful
I’ve read this book on my own once before but decided to listen to the audiobook on a recent 7 hour drive as a reminder of the useful tools to work through anxiety. I related with many of the fears Corinne has experienced which made it really helpful for me to apply the skills throughout the book. Corinne did a great job incorporating ACIM even for someone who has no experience with it. This book is a must read for anyone who has anxiety, especially higher levels than average. And, it’s worth reading more than once. Thank you, Corinne!

A Godsend
This was one of those books that I’ve been waiting for someone to write for YEARS. It was, it seems, written just for me. As a new student of A Course in Miracles and someone who struggles with worry, anxiety and catastrophizing because of past medical trauma, the content here was valuable beyond imagination. What’s funny to me is that I owned it for months before I started it, just assuming it was yet another book about anxiety. Then I started listening and was like holy #%*+

Thank you
Thank you so much, Corinne, for reminding me to resort to my Inner Therapist whenever I get identified with my small "s" self. Thank you for creating this book whose practices can be applied to whatever medical conditions. Love you!

Absolutely brilliant (and a life saver)
Corinne Zupko has written an immensely helpful book for anyone suffering from fear, anxiety, overwhelm and much more. As a Course student, I appreciate her approach. I have both the book and the audiobook and I refer to both frequently. I’m so grateful. Thank you, Corinne ❤️

Radical Self-Inquiry here we go!!
Absolutely the perfect book for someone at rock bottom of anxiety/depression OR when nothing else works. I happen to love ACIM, and so this just added the octane boost I needed to make it truly become a daily technology.

The most helpful self-help book I've ever read!!
I've been a student of A Course In Miracles for over 10 years. For the last 8 years, I have studied the Workbook For Students (the 2nd section of the Course) daily (365 days/year) on Rev. Pamela Whitman's conference call, which has proven to be an enormous help to me in my journey back to peace, but anxiety has plagued and slowed my progress. Corinne's amazing book, "From Anxiety To Love" has pulled everything together for me and I'm now finding belief and motivation to REALLY apply myself to the curriculum laid out in the Course. I've purchased 3 books and will be sharing them with people I know who really need them, but I'll strongly suggest these folks listen to the Audible version first because Corinne's voice lends powerful credibility to the words. Thank you so much for this work, Corinne! ❤️
