Publisher's summary

"His songs were better when he had a broken heart."

That sentence would change my life after my dream job was dished to me on a shiny, silver platter.

All I had to do?

Hurt Nash Pierce enough to get him writing good music again.

The pop icon’s songs were no longer the phenomena they used to be. His team needed another breakthrough album — like the first he’d penned, using his heartbreak as fuel.

The plan was simple: I’d go on tour with him as a backup dancer…and make him fall in love with me. I was hired to inspire — to become embedded into every lyric he wrote. Then, I was to set fire to it all — to destroy every feeling we hoped he’d develop for me.

It seemed simple enough. Easy, even.

I didn’t expect to be consumed myself — to see so much in the man displayed in the tabloids. I didn’t foresee falling for him. It didn’t occur to me that, while attempting to break his heart, I might just shatter my own.

Most of all, I never thought I’d fight so hard to hold on to a relationship that had always been founded on goodbye.

Couldn't Get Enough!

Helloooooo friends! I have finally listened to/read Founded on Goodbye and I can say that I am a fan! I will be the first to admit that I was scared to read this, mainly because I am not a huge fan of rockstar romances... BUT I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS STORY! I listened to it on audio, which is honestly why I was able to read it now, rather than later, and I thought it was so well narrated so that added to the story. I found myself yelling at my car like Nora and Nash could hear me more than once!
On a serious note though, I really did enjoy this story and I can't wait to get to the next book!

4 Epic Stars….

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Here is another book I’ve read recently that I’m uncertain to why more people haven’t read or to why the reviews aren’t higher?

When I read the blurb I knew I had to read this book even though I never have read anything by this Author and I’m happy that I did! This story was beautifully written that it had me overwhelmed with emotions.

Founded on Goodbye was a lovely Rockstar romance with heartbreak, betrayal, lies, secrets and love. With every character I read I grew closer to Nash and Nora and their love story. There chemistry was cute and steamy.

My only complaint I have with this book was Nora’s secret, It didn’t think it was all that devastating like Nora made it out to be..

Spoiler Alert…….DO NOT CONTINUE……

I personally think if “rape” rather then assault had actual happened between Nora and her ex it would’ve given the story more of an impact, but being as it was Nora’s sister that was assaulted by the ex and not even raped…..yea no so much!
So to me that whole situation kinda fell flat. I just didn’t feel like that was a good enough reason to stop talking to your sister or to want to leave home so you can forget. Especially when it didn’t even happened to her.... kinda lame if you ask me.

Overall I enjoyed this book very much and loved all the characters in the story. Definitely would recommend reading this.

Audiobook review: 5 stars to both Gregory Salina and Monica King for bringing both Nash and Nora’s story to life! They did a awesome job!

I really liked the story! It was just what I was looking for

I feel the story did lull in some spots and could have had a few more love scenes. But over all I am a fan.
