Not the most informative review, however I really hope this series continues. Take that how you will.

Can't wait for the next book.

Original and well written story with good characters and is fast paced. The story line advances well from book to book and dies not get bogged down. The overall plot arc is developing nicely. If You like Space opera SciFi you will probably like this. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Just a good story line

more action and suspense but ovet all great listening to story I like Alex the robot over all good listening

This was hard to rate

The story was good until about halfway through. It hit a brick wall during a meeting with a certain pirate faction. The space battles are quick, dirty and extremely unsatisfying. The empire building is almost non existent in this book. Its hard to rate cause I loved the first two books and the first half of this one. The only problem is this feels like a filler book with little to no forward progression. I haven't finished it yet and plan on doing so, an hour and some change left, but obviously I don't see it getting any better.

One other issue is every single female character is a copy and pasted marry sue. They are powerful, smart and overcome all their male counterparts parts with little to no effort. One female kicks the main character so hard he stumbles back, regardless of the fact no other character, even in powered armor, couldn't do. Other then that it's the stereotypical evil corpo story.

spoilers ahead!!!!!!! Pirates are considered better then the government and more wholesome. Im sorry but there is no pirate faction on Earth i would like to be ruled by. A certain pirate faction takes inspiration from Nordic culture for some reason. It feels shoehorned in and poorly thought out.

All in all this story is an extremely mixed bag some good, a lot of bad and full of pointless side quests. I will probably listen to the next book but im not so certain anymore to be honest.
