It's Labor Day weekend in Normal, and if you know anything about camping and RVing, you know it's one of the busiest times of the year. Unfortunately, Daniel Boone National Park is in danger of being closed due to a drought and local businesses are scrambling for ideas to survive a possible shutdown.



Happy Trails Campground is at the center of a murder in which campers as well as locals are suspects. It looks likely that a local resident is responsible for the dastardly deed since the victim is the one person who had the power to shut down the national park, which would be devastating to Normal's small businesses.

Campers Criminals Mustery

Thid is a good book and series to listen to. This is a easy to listen to simple cozy mystery. May West is trying to run her campground and always gets pulled in to trouble. These books are all around five hours. This one held my attention and was easy to follow. I highly recommend trying this if you like cozy mysterious. Mae West is faced with another possible murder of a Park Ranger near her campground, Happy Trails, in Normal, Kentucky. One of her campers is missing & of course she steps into the sleuthing business again. Also, her little Poodle, Fifi is expecting to give birth to 3 little ones any day now. As it turns out the Park Ranger isn’t the only victim involved in this cozy mystery. So as Mae works to put all of the pieces of this puzzle together, she also is forced to decide between which of her two suitors has really captured her heart. I found this to be a fun listen as I tried to keep up with the many twists & turns wound into the this little campground mystery.

Very Southern murder mystery....murder by peanut butter cookie. You gotta watch out for them they can be deadly!

Fun series!

I’m loving this series! I liked the twists and turns in this one. I was a bit disappointed by the ending. It felt a little anticlimactic. I’m excited to continue this series!

Good mystery

While I enjoy the mystery, sometimes I find the love triangle a little high school. I do appreciate how Mae has become a part of Normal. And the campground is a hoot.
