Publisher's Summary

“You're not supposed to fall for your brother's best friend.”

Brynn Miles thought moving back to her family’s winery was a good idea. But when you’re the baby of the family, life can get complicated. Dating? Forget about it. Not with her three older brothers acting like human chastity belts.

To Chase Reilly, his best friend’s little sister has always been invisible. She’s so forbidden, he doesn’t let himself see her. Besides, she’s totally girlfriend material, and he doesn’t do the relationship thing.

Until the night Chase sees her. Really, truly sees her. And nothing will ever be the same.

Looking for love isn’t Brynn’s focus, and Chase is the one guy in the world she can’t fall for. He’s T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Untouchable, and just as forbidden as she is.

But once Chase set his sights on Brynn, there isn’t anything - or anyone - who’ll stop him.

Author’s note: A childhood crush. An irresistible attraction. The cutest scavenger hunt ever. And a surprisingly sweet hero who puts it all on the line when he falls head over heels for the one girl he can’t have.

The Miles Family series is best enjoyed in order.

Brynncess Finds Her Prince

Overall 3.5 stars

Story 3 stars

This was an entertaining brother's best friend romance featuring Brynn Miles and Chase Reilly. This trope is always hit and miss for me, but I was intrigued enough by Brynn and Chase after meeting them in Broken Miles to give it a shot. There's quite a bit of instalove going on in this story and I will admit that I would have enjoyed more build up between these two. I know that they have known each other pretty much their whole lives, but the switch was a little too abrupt for me. Brynn and Chase did have great chemistry though and I enjoyed catching up with the entire Miles family again, especially Roland and Zoe. I did miss Cooper's antics though, since he's absent from a good majority of the book thanks to his feelings regarding Chase and Brynn's relationship. There's some predictable drama involving an OW, but it was resolved just as quickly as it began, and I liked how the plot involving Mr. Miles continues to unfold.

Overall, I enjoyed Vikas Adam and Ava Erickson's narration as Chase and Brynn. I did feel like sometimes Vikas Adam sort of overacted some of the scenes though and it made him come across as too phony. His female voices were also a little too forced for me. I liked Ava Erickson's chapters a lot more, but this was still an enjoyable audiobook and I'm invested in the Miles family and can't wait to listen to the rest.

Forbidden more like Ruin

Once again Claire got the voices right for Chase and Brynn.
Chase is the Modern day Mr Darcy but instead he falls in love with his best friends sister. They fall in love pretty quick at the beginning but then you go through all the twist in turns until the End. Did Cooper Forgive Chase? Did Brynn forgive Cooper? You have to read to find out...but you wont be dissapointed!

This book was a mistake

I like Claire Kingsley. But the narrators weren't that great and the content was worse. I totally get being the youngest and the only girl of the family--but she's 21 and her family treats her like she's 12. And she doesnt stick up for herself. And when she finds her guy-her brothers go HAM. It was ridiculous and actually made me irritated to the extreme. Do NOT buy if you're looking for a good listen.

Forbidden Miles

Narration: While I usually like to that the same narrators throughout a series, I really enjoyed having different narrators to really emphasize the different characters in each book. I had never heard performances from Vikas Adam and Ava Erickson but they did a great job, and I can't wait to hear other works by them.

Story: The best kind of older brothers best friend kind of story. I loved Chase and Brynn together, I didn't even see it coming while reading the first book in the series but they had such a great story. I ached so bad for Chase and his background, I seriously had tears thinking about how he felt, and how the Miles family really was his family in truth. Such an amazing continuation to the family series.

As with all books by Claire Kingsley, this is a captivating story with amazing characters and fantastic family dynamics.
I Loved Chase’s and Brynn’s story, they make a beautiful couple. And Cooper’s shenanigans when he discovers his best friend is dating his little sister - you gotta love the man and his energy!
The narration by Vicas and Ava is phenomenal and perfectly portrays the main characters for an absolutely delightful listening experience.

Really captures Chase and Brynn's exuberance!

Claire Kingsley's second book in the Miles Family series is a brothers-best-friend book, featuring Chase Reilly and Byrnn Miles. Chase has been a part of the Miles family for decades, and he's always had blinders up when it comes to Brynn, but now that those blinders have fallen down, there is no stopping him from giving them the chance they want, despite the opposition from her brother, Cooper.

I loved Chase's inner turmoil and dialog. It was flat out hysterical to hear how he went from "wait, what? Stop it. I can't think of her like this" to "that's it, I'm done, she's the only one for me." Vikas Adam perfectly portrayed Chase's youthful exuberance and his shocking transformation. Chase was shocking himself - and Vikas Adam made sure we knew it and make it so enjoyable to listen to and laugh along with. Ava Erickson was a great Brynn, capturing a young woman just discovering herself and going after what she wants for the first time, while simultaneously trying to show her family that she's not a fragile little girl anymore.

Fantastic narration, and a plot that not only advances the cross-book storyline of the series, but also give us a fully-contained happily-ever-after and evolution of their relationship that makes total sense. Claire Kingsley delivered on the source material, and Vikas Adam and Ava Erickson truly brought these characters to live. The result is hours of listening that will keep you entertained, smiling and laughing.

Cute story, low angst. Best Friends Sister Romance. Chase and Brynn grew up with together, and she has always had a crush on Her older brother Coopers BFF. He never gave her much thought until one day he saw her with different eyes..Problem was he and Cooper were manwhores. After one hot mind-blowing Kiss, his course was set, he was going to make her his. what they hadn't expected was the opposition and what they did for each other, I cluding some hot sexy times.

Chase & His Bryncess

I do love Chase and Brynn’s story. Vikas Adam’s does an amazing job as Chase. Though a part of me misses his regular voice. His voice here is a lot grittier and gruff. Ava Erickson personifies Brynn is perfect.

Love This Series

I’ve read the books in this series and am now journeying into the audio versions. I enjoyed listening to Chase and Brynn’s story. The only issue I had was when the male narrator starting talking each time in his chapters. His voice startled me la bot each time when he first started speaking and I had to ease into his narration. For some reason, his voice just hit me incorrectly as Chase. It didn’t stop me from enjoying the audio version, it just took several sentences for me to get past it.

Brilliant

I am really really enjoying this series. It’s sooooooo refreshing to love the story and not have to go through the horrible break up at the end before they get back together.
Romantic warm storylines are my guilty pleasure. I always dread the drama and break up before the ending. However I’m finding this isn’t the case so far and it’s absolutely rewarding. I normally fast forward the horrible bits that have always seemed to be the conclusion of 99 percent of the romance books. I’m new to this Author! And I’m hoping this continues

talk about sweet syrupy happiness

I read 2 of these books now, and even tried another author with much the same storyline but I came back to Claire Kingsley she makes me laugh especially with her character Cooper.
I intended to go back to my normal themed books but couldn't resist hearing about Cooper. seeing as they suggested you listen to these books in order I thought id listen to Bryn and chase. it was the little bit fairytale sweet for me and much to do about nothing in general. the only thing thhat peeked me was the little Twist with the father coming back and what he's trying to do. I got a little bit frustrated about how they kept calling him Dad especially due to what he was doing.
on touching on the story I think Ms Kingsley when about it cleverly by getting Cooper to suddenly realise through thought process what he was doing and again it made for an easy out. this was done with Roland and Zoe as well.
it's like Ms Kingsleys MO is writing about introspection.
however, I don't think I would have been as kind as brynn and chase were to Cooper in some parts of the story as it took him a long time to come round. ...(I don't think that's a spoiler, if you have listened to book 1, you'd know how this family plays out.)
but sorry if it is.
I'll hang in there with the syrup for coopers story for the laughter that's bound to happen, but I can't wait to get my ears on Leo's story. it sounds like a NOT so sweet story and more along my line of story listening about missions and marines etc. also I wanna see how "good old dad" gets his ass kicked.
