interesting and nuanced story, awesome narrator

The narrator spoke with understanding, precision, meaning, and generated such warmth amd kindness in their voice.

I just read the other reviews and feel compelled to add these thoughts. In terms of genre, the use of time travel is novel and insightful and beautifully nuanced. It helps if you like to think and be confused or uncertain about where the story is going. Also, if you want to take a ride with an author who has something important and different to share with you, that is not the same as a lot of other stories out there, that shows a spotlight on some atypical ways to think about life and choices, with a narrator whose voice, in addition to the words, can make you feel the weight of what the characters may gain or lose, then this is a story for you. If you have enough life experience with tough life decisions where there isnt a right/wrong this short story packs a punch.

I will be searching for more work by both the author and narrator.

Depressing

“It was inevitable, Russ. Love. Death. It doesn’t matter. All we have is the time.” A story about choosing to stay stuck in the past.

Family Drama not SciFi

I chose this thinking I would discover a good time travel story. This isn't sci fi, it's a family drama. For a short story, it was a long dull listen. It barely had any science in it. If you are looking for some time twisty goodness, stick with Dr. Who. This isn't even close. Jonathan Davis was great on narration.
