Destiny

I was doing fine. Just fine. I’d long since left my cheating, two-timing, slime ball of a husband, and was doing well making my way in the world. I had a career that I loved as a financial advisor, great friends, and family. I didn’t need for anything. Especially not love.

Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t completely soured on the whole falling in love thing. However, after having my heart crushed once by the man who claimed to love me and only me, I wasn’t exactly itching to take another walk down that aisle. Especially not with another athlete of all people. Then in walks Tyler Townsend. Or rather, I walked into his life. And from then on out, it was a struggle to keep my heart tucked behind the armor of self-defense I’d erected to prevent myself from getting hurt again.

All of the teasing I’d done to my older brothers once they’d fallen in love was coming back to haunt me. I just knew it. Because as soon as Destiny McDonald blew into my world, all the games were over. No other woman would do. And I'd do anything to ensure that she knew it. And I do mean anything. Because this time, I’m playing for keeps.

Absolutely loved this one as I did all the others Tyler was a piece of work just like his brother’s.

The male narrator sucked!! He sounded as if he were an AI recording. Lacy took me on a journey. But not him!

Tyler The Menace

Tyler is the youngest Townsend brother and the most unhinged in a mentally stable way (read each brother's book and you will understand my statement). Tyler has the most confidence, swagger and audacity of all the brothers. He sees Destiny and his destiny all at the same time. I immediately felt their chemistry and enjoyed the cat and mouse chase between them.

I loved Destiny being a compassionate and successful career woman who survived a heartbreaking betrayal. Her relationship with Resha and mom added even more depth to the character.

Tyler is a revenge seeker when it is warranted but the softer side is equally as strong. Naming his youngest son after his twin brother who died in childbirth tugged at my heart and makes him my second favorite Townsend brother. His wicked retorts also secured his place; Tyler will cut you down with his words, In one scene, he went there with a basically "Yo Momma" and my mouth dropped open.

Don't miss out on a good read

Zero to fast and furious

Tyler knows what he wants. The Alfa in this story was intense. Destiny doesn't stand a chance of refusal once she crosses paths with him.

Good Narration !

This was a great book to listen to. The performances were good. I would recommend this book.
