Amazing book for the right time !!!!!

I am loving Evelyn Sola books, I love the cultural aspects of it. I mean all the stuff the Black female lead has to go through and in addition starting a new relationship. The cousin Heath is a perfect example of hostility towards women in power in the workplace. And what the uncle did was very wrong if I were her, but now I knew I would have gotten that agreement in writing.

Be Still My Heart

Evelyn Sola fan here!!!! Colin is the type of man women pray for. Lord have mercy. Brin, smart, confident and just the right amount of tough. I laughed, gasped and cheered out loud. The mashed potato scene...LOL!! I listened to this book in a day and half. It only took me that long because I had to go to sleep.

Not my fav

I love the author I have 15 of her books. The female narrator of this book was terrible and it was hard for me to get into. The book may really be good! But it was hard to listen to with the narrator being so terrible

Emotional Healing and Growth

This was a nice listen. Colin, Brynne, and the group keeps you wanting more but I think Heath is a character that's so eccentric that I would like to hear more about him and his world.

I loved the story line

I really can’t relate to the narrators to this story. It felt like someone was reading to me vs. bring the characters to life. Past narrators made me feel like I was actually watching a movie in my head vs. these guys. Don’t get me wrong they were good just wanted to feel like I was fly on the wall watching the scenes play out in front instead of what I got. Still a huge fan and can’t wait for the next book.
